To be honest, I don't mind MW3.

Yeah, the campaign is awful, and the zombies are questionable, but the multiplayer is one of the smoothest gameplay experiences I've had in call of duty so far, improving on MW (2019) and MW2 (2022). However, do I think it should be allowed for the absolute vampires known as Activision to push soulless cash-grab dlcs/updates for full game price? Hell no. I was reluctant to buy this game because I didn't want to support the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ publisher. £60 is just not acceptable for DLC that has less content than the original game.

90% of multiplayer maps are great/good, with the 10% being MASSIVE maps that should've stayed in old MW2, due to the changed flow of gameplay and movement (the worst examples being derail, estate and maybe quarry). But to be honest, the map voting system helps filter out the globally hated maps by the community, unless it's derail, because some people are smart, and some are very wrong. Camping in these maps will always exist, but is surprisingly less common than other modern call of duty games. BO4 was bad, MW2022 was terrible, and MW2019 was just a game of camp or be camped.

i get 90% of my playtime in multiplayer, so the terrible campaign and zombies made no difference for me. The zombies was mediocre, not much to say, and the campaign could be one of THE WORST I've ever played tied with BO3, with the whole story in a nutshell as:

1. go here do this with these guys
2. uh oh another thing
3. you did it so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happened yay
4. push £30 dlc because capitalism

The campaign had no depth, and felt as if ChatGPT had to create a PEGI 7 cod clone under a time limit. oh my god, it makes me so angry that selling a 4-6 hour campaign for £60 is legal. but once again, PLEASE ONLY BUY IF YOU ONLY PLAY MULTIPLAYER.

The performance was surprisingly smooth for a cashgrab game like this, granted, i do have balanced DLSS enabled, but we can't have everything we want at the end of the day. A very annoying trait of MW3 is that I have to pre-load shaders EVERY TIME I UPDATE DRIVERS, unless i want my game to be a powerpoint presentation running on the PS2 (Activision REALLY needs to disable any sort of matchmaking if shaders aren't loaded, a warning screen won't cut it you lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥). And considering my 30-series GPU gets an update weekly, sometimes even booting up MW3 feels like a chore.

I had around 300+ hours in MW2019, skipping MW2, and the change of the awful map roster from MW2019 (looking at you, Atlas Superstore and Picadilly) was a breath of fresh air. Speaking to a friend, they regretted buying MW3 after playing MW2, as the multiplayer maps were already decent enough (sometimes), and not much had changed other than the improved movement and zombies addition; probably skip this one if you have MW2.

With the release of black ops 6 and my 15 hours into the free week, I still need to talk about the hefty price of £70 at the end of the day, which is completely ridiculous for almost any game nowadays; but games like ULTRAKILL, Elden Ring and Zelda have an excuse, if I were to cherish and love the game for the rest of my life, and pour countless hours into a game delicately crafted by passionate devs who don't push soulless titles every year, then a price tag of £70 doesn't sound expensive anymore, that's just a good deal. BUT, how many games with a £60-£70 price range really hold up to that standard? Well, BO6 doesn't. it's a great cod, but not £70 great. This isn't even considering the vault edition upgrade for £110 (oh my god) and forced £10-£20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ microtransaction skins, you would have to pay ME £110 pounds to support this scumbag monetization.

Overall, MW3 was pretty good for me, as I only really play the multiplayer. Many people don't bother with other content, and some people buy the game for mainly the campaign, and I would see why they would do this. However, if you're one of these people, stay away from MW3 with a 10 metre pole and go play MW2 remastered (not 2022, the OG remastered. terrible naming scheme). At the end of the day, MW3 will eventually die out with the annual release of each COD, like MW2019 did. That right there, is how they catch you. The only reason I bought MW3 is because of the dead playerbase and cheater haven known as MW2019, which makes me want to do terrible things to the Activision CEO. But after all, just buy which game suits your interest the most.

Apart from vanguard.

Great game if you're a fan of survival, but sadly the majority aren't.

Feels like a combination of OTXO and POST VOID, just a perfect game. Set FOV to 110, thank me later.

Like Cyberpunk, Payday 3 had a terrible launch but has redeemed itself over the course of a year. In it's current state the price is pretty damn good, and even better when you realise the content this game will have down the development road. Honestly, I think I enjoy Payday 3 as much as Payday 2, just needs some more content. 9/10.

The developer gets a tax cut from all market trades made, yet somehow the entire point of the game is to collect and sell market items?? Still bewildered that people haven't realised that this game is just a scam. Best thing to do is not play at all.
