Gonna keep it real with you, this game is what most free to play games should aspire to be like. You have access to everything right out the gate. No money needs to be spent at any point in time for this game, however spending money can accelerate your progression. You may think this makes it pay to win, but a lot of things you can pay for are gated behind the amount of times you can trade, or the Mastery Level (overall level) you are at. The stronger stuff you do have to be higher level for which means you are required to invest some time before you start spending and getting the super strong stuff.

The story though confusing at times is good, and the games biggest strength is its gameplay. It's fast paced, fluid and each Warframe is unique, and there is a multitude of weapons you can choose from at any point in time.

The only major gripe I have for this game is the new player experience. It has an okay tutorial explaining how the game functions but is hard to understand what to do after the tutorial. The mod system can be incredibly overbearing to a new player, so I recommend if you wanna get into this game you have a friend help you start out. I'm always helping new players so you can even message me if you want to start out with a buddy to help you through.

Overall I recommend this game, by far the best F2P game out there and sets the bar for what I consider how a F2P game should be handled.

Update 1.5.0 has yielded some promising results with certain strategies and weapons being nerfed. The developers have some good response time having addressed the cheating problem with the controller software within a week. The game is different than other shooters and requires a lot of what your average shooter gamer won't know how to do. I.E. The Finals makes you think outside of the box to succeed. It can be played both competitively as well as casually giving you the credit currency in the game regardless of if you win or lose. More credits if you win however does push you to succeed more than fail.

Will it succeed or fail? Based off what I've seen so far the game is promising, however I believe the game will need regular content updates if it wants to keep the audience it has. I'm talking new maps, perhaps limited events and I'd highly recommend implementing new game modes. 1.5.0 brought us Solo bank it, of which has mixed reviews but from what I've gathered are mostly negative due to the highly saturation of lights and imbalance of classes of which some are highly designed for team play. I think the developers are on a good track but they do need to keep this passion up. They can't please everyone but listening to your players is important, if they can do that and still keep the only priced options cosmetic and not gameplay affecting I think we have a very bright future for this game.

Worst game I've ever played, it’s buggy, players are sweaty af, content drip is awful and titans are broken………10/10 highly recommend.
