Do yourself a favor and buy this magnificent game. It doesn't matter if it's on sale or not. The story, combat and aesthetic are all 10/10 and it's absolutely my game of the year so far.

This is a hard game, but that just means you will feel very skilled once you get the hang of the controls and timing different enemies' attacks. The game is not as big as Hollow Knight and there is currently no boss rush, but if I understand correctly more content may be in the works.

dangerously addictive

Dead Cells is one of the most replayable games I've ever seen. It's as challenging as you want it to be, and the developers are constantly rolling out updates. Definitely recommend.

A huge improvement over Blind Forest, which was already amazing. The combat mechanics are way better, and they have added a ton of extra side quests and races to increase the replay value.
