Very few times in my life have I ever experienced that 'bug'. The one that every person who enjoys any form of media strives to seek out by experiencing something new, my first introduction to this feeling was Witcher 3; A game that still stands as my favourite game ever made. Few titles have ever grabbed me with the investment that it made me feel. Wanting to learn all the lore, seeking out the best choices and exploring every inch of the vast open world.

Elden Ring was not a game I intended to play much less post a review for, during my first 5-10 hours of play time I was frequently frustrated with the ruthless and masochistic nature of the game devs taunting my lack of skill. I shelved it for several weeks and didn't think about it, until I decided to give it one more chance.

Since then I have been showering this game with the praise it rightly deserves, is it perfect? Absolutely not. But what it does well is done better than what it does poorly. I would not recommend this game to anyone, but if you've ever wanted to try to understand why people love FromSoft and the Souls Genre, then this is the best option. The Lands Between are a beautiful collection of nightmarish vistas complementing a world rich with lore and intrigue. Every time I came across something new I always tried to picture or understand how it got there. The environmental storytelling is unmatched in almost any other game in existence.

What I value most about this game is the freedom of not only the combat, but how each player's interpretation of events is unique and wholly their own. None of them are wrong necessarily, Miyazaki likely deliberately leaves things vague in order to let the player come to their own conclusions about the player's and other's role in the universe. Please if my ramblings haven't gotten you to consider this game then try it out for yourself.

Very rarely does a game come out of nowhere and surpass my very low expectations. I didn't see anything about this game except that it was on sale and looked like SE's Avengers. Bought and 20 hours later was floored by the passion of the writers and developers for this game. Is it perfect? No. Is the gameplay uninspired? Mostly. But I highly recommend you buy this game if you love superhero stories. If this is what more games will look like in the future then I'm on board.

Quite simply the best 5 Canadian dollars you can spend if you use a computer. Regardless of if you're a gamer or not, you owe it to yourself and the incredibly talented community making wallpapers to buy this.

There's a certain beauty in coming into this series with no expectations, other than a friend who played the Originals, telling me "You'll be a different person after this". Mass Effect Legendary Edition may be one of if not the greatest game ever made.

While this statement may very well be a loaded one, I stand by it. If we are to say that this game is separate from the originals and counts on its own then it's an incredible value for money. Not only in the amount of content you have with 3 games but also in the amount of content there is in mods and replayability. I have over 300 hours poured in and I guarantee there will be more to come.

To borrow a phrase from a certain Turian friend of mine; "I'm Alicat and this is my favourite game in my Steam Library."

First, let me be clear; I really love this game. the gameplay is really fun to play around with and the characters and writing are top-notch. What makes this review negative is the fact that this game runs like a 300 pound paraplegic at the Olympics.

The constant crashing, bugs, and unimpressive visuals are a nightmare, I realize this is an old game and was not made to run in Windows 10 (which I was running on) but if a game refuses to run on a platform most people play on then it needs to be disclaimed and told to the customer. Feel free to tell me that I'm stupid for not trying some technical hack to fix all the constant crashing.
