The story of my woes: catgirl edition

I entered this game with wisps of promise, of sexual gratification and the training of aiming prowess in virtual first person shooters. I booted the game with purpose and conviction, fully confident i was up to the task of defeating this game. O, how foolish it all seems. Without a single speck of doubt, i instantly press the button with PLAY plastered onto it. I am bolted into a grey, boxy area, accompanied by a few choice weapons and, of course, the plastered catgirls, slowly drifting along their assigned tracks. I race to start firing away, and as i do so, i hear an all too familiar and gratifying sound. The achievements flooded in, with lures of promise, should i finish it. i rose to the task, no longer worried of the aiming of my virtual crosshair, focusing on the numbered achievements. 1, then 5, then 10, then 50, till i reached 1000. With a cocky glare, i focus now on the achievement section of the library. "Only 2 more? how quaint." Without knowing how i sealed my fate, i quickly click on the last achievement. "Hit 10000 targets," it said. It was then, all at once, that my smirk all but fell off my face. I was in too deep now, trapped in the sickly sweet syrup of the pitcher plant. I, with a new sense of dread, all but slaved away. 5, 10, 15 minutes passed, and yet little to my progress was made. only after an hour and 30 minutes, did i finally achieve the second last achievement, but that ping was all but taunting, daring me to reach the final level. The constant sexual themes and the rhythmic firing of the gun sunk away, my mind melded to the task. Gone, were the jokes of easy fame and fortune, for i knew now, this would be no easy battle. After what felt like an eternity, i had only managed to garner 7500 points. My eyes grew heavy, my sight grew dim, and yet, my hand moved all the same, seemingly taken of a mind on its own. At the 8500 mark, i knew it was time to take a short break, so i finally broke the control this game had entrapped me into, to finally go take a few sips of water, but every second i wasn't focused, mouse in hand with the constant hitmarkers and moans of the women was another agonizing second i could be using to claw ever closer to my goal. I finally got back to the game, gritty determination filling my head as i methodically shot the feline women as they popped up, one by one, till i finally got to the 9700 mark. A gong, a bell of revered intensity seemed to go off in my mind as i reached ever closer to my final goal. The rattling of the gun my drums, the hitmarkers my song, i claw ever closer to my ultimate reward. 9997, 9998, 9999... and finally, i reached the apex of my journey. A sudden hollowness fills me, and i almost shamefully close the torturer that had toyed with me the past couple hours.

10/10 would recommend, fixed my aiming but ruined my night

i cant say anything anyone hasn't said before, but this game absolutely blew my mind. i was prepared for deep, dark and contemplative but WOW! it's so bold faced when it comes to depictions of suicidal intent, depression and the feeling of fear consuming you. very accurate too. the first ending i got ("true ending") actually made me just. sit there while the credits rolled, just an amazing game. so glad i bought it.
