If you don't like strategy games then I wouldn't really recommend it, but if you like history and numbers going up or red things turning green then I think you'll learn to love this game like I did.

And if you don't like WW2 the modding scene has so much to offer from My little pony, Fallout, Modern Day, Alternate history and so many others.

Played the franchise since the D1 beta hate it and love it but overall i would reccomend it for anyone looking to have some fun in a space looter shooter
