This really begs the question: How did the fall of the Eastern Roman Capital of Constantinople in 1453 affect LeBron's legacy? The most obvious factor affecting his legacy is that with the crumbling of the Byzantine capital, the NBA superstar no longer has the opportunity to sweep the city's team in a series, meaning LeBron will never be able to claim the city, as Lebronstantinople. This is further enforced by the fact that the Ottoman Empire contained both the country of modern-day Jordan, as well as the Michael Jordan river. With modern day Istanbul being more aligned with the West, they are likely to favour policies of US top diplomats like former Chicago Bulls forward Dennis Rodman, rather than the pro-China stances of Li Bron Jaymes. Anything that's bad for China is bad for LeBron, and such was the case for the fall of the eastern Roman capital, when the Ottomans seized Constantinople, they quickly disrupted and halted trade between China and Europe through the Silk Road.

A decision by Mehmed the Conqueror that LeBron has often criticised as being uneducated, as the NBA depends more and more on the Chinese market for revenue.

Speaking on the subject, LeBron was recently quoted saying: “I was there when Constantinople fell. It was tough to watch to be honest, but it was crazy to witness such a historical event unfold before my eyes” as he stepped out of an Air-Jordan aeroplane.

It is clear to many historical sports analysts that the fall of Constantinople only hurt LeBron's legacy. However, when one dynasty ends, another begins, and if LeBron continues to play his cards right with the Chinese, he could make a historic pivot to become the new Emper.... Uhhh I mean President. But if not, we must ask ourselves: is this the end of Lebronstantinople or can he salvage his career and become LePresident by returning to his roots and transferring to the Istan-Bulls?
