no hate and ill delete this review later but at the moment for christmas they did an update and put presents all around the map and it ruins so many of the scary scenes its crazy. like im not even scared anymore cuz i just find it funny its snowing and theres a bunch of presents everywhere. it really kills the mood ngl. I hope they add a setting to be able to remove all of it

@Karsui yeah but it also obstructed an action.

<SPOILERS> on that section you had to find those 5 pieces of paper, I found it much more difficult than it should have because there was so much clutter everywhere my monkey brain kept trying to open the boxes/ presents instead of the cupboards. I couldn't really tell if something was actually intractable or just another shitty decoration.

And i wanted to give criticism which wouldn't make much sense with a positive review. Its clear people agreed with me cuz of the awards and likes.

In my opinion it's a reasonable claim. Sure, you can calm it immersion and so on. But if additional elements clip-through each other, obstructing an actual action, then it surely is a bad thing.

Still, I don't think it's a reason to straight up give bad review, because it means youre overall review on the game is lower than 5/10.

You are literallly inside the videogame, during Christmas season. How immersion breaking. Lolwut

yeah this is really my one negative gripe about the game. it's an incredibly stupid addition to a horror game and for some reason the devs refuse to make it removable in a way that doesn't break your internet entirely

@diepotato Dude, same. The only way to remove it is by changing your date on your pc but doing that often makes other apps stop working. Stupid how they didn't just include a setting for it

@diepotato hate away. There's only one thing worse than toxic negativity in the world, and it's toxic positivity. You have a valid criticism, it's your duty as a gamer to criticise loudly and proudly to give the devs a chance to listen.

@Rynx people use computers for many tasks far more important than gaming; changing system date randomly can do a lot of damage.
