Is what I said to my mom before Pepper, my spicy princesa hailing from the Dominican Republic, drove off in my 2005 Ford F-150 extended cab with my old blue tick hound called Gus still crying in the bed. Leaving me cold and alone on a dusty road in Tulsa, with only my thoughts and regrets to keep me company.

Ever since that day I've tried to forget Pepper, and in the interim I've become an ardent fan of online competitive shooter video games. Counter Strike is my favorite. I can recall being a young boy in my local gaming cafe "pwning n00bs" on de_ratz while sipping on a bright blue Jones Soda Berry Lemonade. Those were the days, the days before that caliente fire queen ignited a conflagration in my heart. One only a shot of penicillin could begin to extinguish. Her body moved like the Caribbean Sea, undulating waves crashing against the coast of Port-Au-Prince. As she, crashed against me like a twenty foot swell sending me deeper into the unknown darkness that was our dalliance. She stole my heart... and my 2005 Ford F-150.

As I've become more involved in Counter Strike, I've really started to enjoy collecting skins! My favorite is the p2000 turf. I enjoy the subtle green tones that eventually turn a vibrant green with a simple ombre ascending from the hand guard to the slide of the pistol. The bright white accents on the hand grip that run parallel to the grooves of the rear slide add a playful touch of innocence to an otherwise deadly tool of war. In a way it reminds me of Pepper... deep in the jungles of Jarabacoa as we hunted waterfalls and one another's loins, the thick vegetation's shadows danced across her sun kissed body creating an illusion of seduction and terror. Strikingly akin to the pattern of the p2000 turf, I believe the artist behind this work must have experienced something similar with lush vegetation as the inspiration for his piece.

Another great aspect of the p2000 turf is the multiple wear conditions that have an aesthetically captivating deviation from the factory new variant. The p2000 turf starts off with a vibrant green in minimal wear and eventually matures into a more mauve forest, bringing with it a more earthy and grounded appearance in battle scarred. In my opinion, I believe this is the more desired wear for the p2000 turf, as it trades in the flashy florescent accents for deeper hues of a non deciduous forest. The irony is not lost on me that Pepper, took off in the middle of a deep timber road surrounded by towering ponderosa. The thick vanilla fragrance of the bark was a cruel and constant reminder of the woman I loved, barreling down the dirt road in my 2005 Ford F-150, with ol' Gus crying for my company in the bed, leaving me to ponder how I even ended up there in the first place.
