The game wasn't great, the handling sucks its like you're either driving on ice or on rails and it switches between the two on a whim, its super grindy it'll have buy-ins for races at $16,000 while advertising a $22,000 reward so you only make $6,000 in the end and the money that you win in the races doesn't go straight to you it goes into a separate fund that you need to bank at the end of either the day or night so if you don't have a crazy amount saved up you'll likely only be able to do 1 event per day or night, personally I'm not a big fan of the mix of realistic cars and environment with cell shaded characters cause it makes them look flat and lifeless, its barely even a racing game since 90% of the time you're either running from the cops or trying to dodge the cops while trying to do a race, I bought the ultimate edition because it was on sale for $20 but then refunded it cause I just knew that the game wouldn't grow on me. Good music though.

it's a good game my one gripe is the weather, you have two choices, the current weather at the track or weather of your choosing but only up to 4 slots. I wish there was more randomness so it would be much less predictable, while there is randomness in the real weather you would need to do races of like 5 hours plus for it to affect your race in any meaningful way. it is a good game and I recommend it to anyone who likes racing games but as I have stated before I wish the weather was less predictable.

the game is pretty fun and the story is compelling but the combat is infuriating if you don't know what you are doing, like me
