Fun

Game has better story, quests, and game-play mechanics than New Vegas, but isn't as modern as Fallout 4 (obviously).

No Steam achievements is kind of weird but doesn't bother me that much.

9/10 would recommend.

You can get a Panzer Vulpaphyla

Many quests and lots of stuff to do in the wasteland.

Vanilla is cool but mods enhance the game quite a bit. No achievements while mods are enabled is kind of crazy though.

Great experience overall, 9/10 would recommend.

Old Review:
Bayou aesthetic is beautiful and immersive.
Dark magic casually enhances the old southern feel.
Game-play banks on patience and observation.
Ultimately an enjoyable experience, 10/10 would recommend.

New Review:
Aesthetic seems lost, or wavering at least.
Uncountable bugs.
Game-play has become dull and lacking in excitement.
The game may not be dead objectively, but it is dead to me personally.

Scariest game I've ever played.

As in "getting over the weird controls and nonsensical physics". Game is alright but needs fall damage to deliver more of an adrenaline rush when falling.

Bugs and random crashing errors. I also get constant packet loss error (apparently European servers are fine but I am in NA).

Relies a little too much on AI, both for voice actors and in-game art (sprays, stickers, etc).

Unbalanced classes and weapons.

Matchmaking based solely on region, not skill. Despite region-based matchmaking, I still get Chinese hackers in my lobbies.

On the bright side, it is a pretty cool first-person shooter. The devs are really involved with the community, especially on Discord. Music is awesome, game is probably one of my top 3 in terms of soundtrack.

But The Finals' redeeming qualities don't nearly compensate for all its problems. Maybe I'll get back into this game in a year or so, if they've fixed some stuff.

Good concept but may as well play the actual game you're trying to improve in.
