Also, can we please get a sequel with more levels and maybe an entire city?

My first experience with Armored Core has been a superbly delightful one! I'm amazed at how fluid the combat is, how well it teaches you to fight, fly, and customize your AC in any way you want, and just how fresh this game feels! I'm a huge fan of FromSoftware's SoulsBorne series, despite having never finished a single one of them, but this game single-handedly proves that they're not just a one-trick pony: they're a developer that cares about making incredible and unforgettable experiences. Thank you to everyone at FromSoftware and thank you, Hidetaka Miyazaki for bringing this incredible game to life!

Dude, this game is an absolute blast! I've only just started and I've already slain hundreds of heretics and foul Xenos scum, and had a blood good time doing it!! I'm begging the dev team, PLEASE release modding and map-making tools for this... User made maps would be amazing!

Long story short: this freaking game is an absolute JOY to play! Zany weapons, a wacky story, hordes of mutants, gangs, robots, and a certain murderous mascot to shoot, blast, explode, freeze, burn, and melt in spectacular fashion.

11/10 would absolutely kill for a sequel

Honestly, where do I even begin? This remaster of the beloved hidden gem for the PS1 is absolutely stunning in its' presentation with beautiful graphics, a great score, and loads of colorful and cute characters! With easy to pick up controls and just enough challenge to keep it engaging, I can't recommend it more highly!

A true masterpiece and a worthy addition to the illustrious franchise that gave the first-person shooter.

Gameplay is fine tuned to be challenging but not impossible, making every encounter almost a dance as you learn to quick-swap between your chainsaw, your new Blood Punch, and each of the incredible and powerful weapons in your arsenal. Everything from the Super Shotgun and the Ballista to the BFG 9000 is incredibly satisfying to use and learn to master as you fight your way through the legions of Hell.

The story isn't as deep as games like Halo 2 or Titanfall 2, but the lore driven codex entries more than make up for it, lore ranging from the origin of the Night Sentinels to the Khan Makyr herself... it's insanely detailed and ties together the entire series so beautifully.

The MUSIC is easily some of the best in the series with Mick Gordon back in the big chair for the main campaign and DOOM veteran Andrew Hulshult making a triumphant return for the two Ancient Gods expansions.

OVERALL: DOOM Eternal is a massive home-run for first-person shooters in a time when the market forgot what made them fun and exciting to play. DOOM also has the wonderful Hugo Martin and his excellent team taking care of the community with fast responses and down to earth personalities that more companies should have in their administration. I could not recommend this game more and I even regret buying it on sale because a game of this quality, love, and care poured into it deserves every single solitary penny I can pay if it means supporting iD Software and the wonderful folks behind the scenes that brought this wild ride to glorious, or should I say GORY-ous life :D
