Been playing Dayz SA since it came out on console and oh my god did console Dayz suck, especially with the cars. but i never hated the game. Ever since i was a kid i watched all the dayz mod videos and ever since then ive been attached no matter how many times a car has randomly murdered me, or gotten stuck in a door and beaten to death by zombies, or launched off a small rock on a hillside to my death, or all the times me and my whole team got wiped by one guy with a cheat menu, it seems like i love the pain Dayz give to me. i keep coming back for more. All the grinding for loot and losing it all, you gotta think about it as your characters story other than YOUR story. each death is a new beginning. you meet more people and you make new enemies and new stories arise. small faction wars or you by yourself stuck in between 2 massive groups that have it out for each other. its a survival story game, you play how you want. Everyone saying im crazy for liking such a buggy, unfinished game. the style of the game reminds me of older pc games for some reason, the bugs in the game make it Special in a way, over time you learn what to do and not to do to survive the buggy apocalypse. it definitely has a learning curve surrounding the different game bugs. idk how console Dayz is nowadays but ive heard its still so-so. community vanilla-ish servers definitely do it for me though, having to deal with unstoppable cheaters on official servers is a pain in the rear, lost so many bases and gear to them. So yes, id recommend this game to anyone and everyone but be warned, you will get screwed over by game bugs, other players ofc, and the occasional cheater on official servers. there is alot to learn in Dayz other then regular survival and gunfights, half the time its you versus the game code/engine. love this game to death, literally
