I got this game because I saw a video about it but the concept and gameplay is just way too similar to lethal company but without the charming aesthetics of lethal company also the monsters do an incredible amount of damage

and they're extremely difficult to run away from because the door opening and closing is so finicky and precise so it makes it really difficult to close doors and enemies to get away from them this is what lethal company excels at and this game flounders at

I would recommend something like lethal company or content warning, content warning at least does something unique with this concept

This game is an absolutely amazing social VR/desktop sandbox I highly recommend it but when going into it I would recommend asking for help don't be afraid to ask for anything the community is more than happy to help you

Inscryption was possibly one of the most emotional and best ending to a video game I have ever played

I feel like the sigils is what makes Inscryption very unique from other card games they are really interesting in the fact that you can grab a card to sacrifice its sigils onto another card later is really cool and there are so many varieties and the fact that they are simple to understand just elevates the gameplay even more since you have to think about the sigils on your enemy's side and what they do the game makes this easy you just have to right click on a sigil to go to where it is in the rulebook

Inscryption is probably one of the greatest games I've ever played the cards, the atmosphere, sigils the music they are all great it took me a few days to actually fully collect my thoughts after beating the game there were so many twists that I was not expecting this game mixes

the card-based roguelike gameplay into something very unique the First Act is so unbalanced in both ways using the Death Cards you received you can make a really powerful deck you can't say the same about

act 3 act three is all about balance and following the rules which just made it really unfun and when you die you just go back to the previous checkpoint to fight the same guys again with the same moves so that part of the game is really repetitive and boring

but the part after that was so good

now let's talk about the ending

the ending

this is possibly one of the best endings to a video game that I have ever played Leshy ripped off p03's head in a unexpected twist while he was monologuing but then in another twist
Grimora starts deleting the game and this has you going through every scribe in a battle but all are cut short due to them being deleted all of them are very sad but Leshy is a exception

despite me dying multiple times despite me being extremely mad about beating him and having to restart because I did not grab the eyeball to get the film roll and I had to play through the entire game again I saw him as nothing more than a thing that is blocking me from progressing through the story I did not like them as a character at that time

but when I return to the cabin after beating Grimora I could do nothing but tear up a bit as I heard the familiar music and when I was given my old deck that's when I broke the moment the scale disappeared is the moment I figured out that Leshy was not the Beast I thought he was

he was just a dude living a hobbit lifestyle that just wanted to play his game he wasn't actually killing people he was aware that you were a person on the other side of the screen the prospector, the angler, the Trapper/Trader they were just merely characters that Leshy played and he let you play his game for his entertainment and for your own but when I realize this it was already too late

we continued to play a couple more rounds but when the bell disappeared I knew it was time we shook one another's hand like we were old friends the best dungeon master is about to be deleted right in front of me,

Inscryption somehow made me really sad to see Leshy go, a character that I didn't even care about at the beginning a character that I just saw as a wall to get through the story a character that made me so pissed off because he killed me despite me beating him

but yet I cared about him somehow and that's how you make a character's ending

anyways those are my thoughts

Good game Leshy.

this is a really great sit-down puzzle game and I just love the theme that you are a spy attempting to stop a villain it's just really Charming and you get a lot of gameplay out of it definitely worth the money my only complaint is the third level i felt like it was a little bit too vague I hate how they placed the numbers on items the number 8 was on a cigarette 3 was on a piece of paper and 6 was underneath the ashtray this was really unclear and I fought those items weren't important and was stuck on that level for 54 minutes besides from that it's a pretty good game so far

this game seems like a really good take on the 2020 hit game Among Us and my first game was actually kind of enjoyable when a dead body or a meeting is called you can click "M" to see the map yellow dots represent other players note these dots are not labeled with the players names

you can also see one Green Dot labeled "you" this represents your position on the map when a meeting is called, the game has a voice chat and it found my microphone without any issues also the tasks that you do are quite enjoyable but that's about where the positives end

the first game I was talking about was quite enjoyable until I got disconnected for absolutely no reason it said to check my internet connection despite my internet being well over good enough to be able to play this game

finding a server takes absolutely forever and when you do join a server you can just get disconnected for no reason with the error saying "check your internet connection" despite my internet being absolutely fine for multiplayer games like this I think the game itself is perfectly fine but the server issues just pulled the game down as a whole if I can't play it overall I am kind of disappointed and I don't recommend this game unless the server issues get fixed

this game is s*** I can't even get into one server most of my playtime was just finding a server

I don't make reviews for games very often but this is an exception this is the greatest 3D platformer I have ever played all the levels are really open and you can revisit areas that were used in previous chapters if you wanted to

I love every single one of the characters not to mention this game has a really good art style that is absolutely timeless

Mafia Island does have some performance issues when you first loaded it in but after being there for a minute it Smooths out some of the boss fights and time segments were really frustrating but that made it oh so more satisfying when I actually completed it

and don't get me started with the music it is absolutely impeccable every single chapter every single world is very open for you to explore overall this is possibly the best game I've ever played please do yourself a favor and buy it

this game was so good I bought both of the DLC as soon as I finished it

1. when you open the game there is a really cool cutscene but it plays every single time you open the game this cutscene last for 2:38

2. the game servers are abysmal every single time I attempted to join the game it's either the host disconnects or if I am able to join my camera is stuck below the map for some reason

3. the game does not have a proper windowed fullscreen so it is really irritating tabbing in and out of it

overall kind of disappointed

update: December 7th 2022

okay so after the developers pushed a few patches the games Now reliably playable they fixed a few of the networking issues and now I can reliably get into games

but there are some serious problems still like the audio sucks not as in the quality isn't good the quality of the sound effects are actually pretty good what I expect out of the game but the monsters footsteps are horribly bad the monster could be walking around on the opposite side of the map and you would still hear him as if he was right on top of you

but if the monster is approaching you or really close to you you will not hear any footsteps at all resulting in you getting killed and captured and this does not feel fair at all I feel like I should be able to listen for the monsters footsteps to know if I should stop doing a puzzle or not takes away some strategy from the game

this is really annoying when I'm constantly hearing the monsters footsteps and he is nowhere near me but when he's right next to me I hear absolute Jack schitt developers please fix this this is my biggest issue with the game at the moment

overall the games pretty decent and I haven't ran into any major bugs

I do not support the recent decisions made by the VRChat team they basically slapped their community in the face adding in easy anti-cheat fix nothing that it did was harm the quality of life mods and the malicious people would go out of their way to bypass it

so it literally only gave malicious people more power as users had Anticrash mods that no longer work the VRChat developers

are so out of touch with their community yes they are adding in new features as I'm writing this review but after HOW LONG they had so much time to add in the features that people have been begging for a long time yet they did not do it until they got a lot of backlash

it took the entire Community boycotting vrchat for them to add in features they have been begging for years and they were made within a week or two.

so are the developers just sitting on there ass all day?
they could have implemented these features years ago yet they didn't absolutely appalling

I uninstalled the game and I'm not planning on playing it ever again
the last time I played it was on June 26th 2022

I want to make it clear I do not use mods but I definitely see the prospective

I've recently reinstalled the game but I am still not planning on playing it and less someone really really wants me to

I don't really have any motivation to play VRChat because most of my friends I know and love are on resonite

and whenever I play vrchat I feel like I'm extremely limited with what I can do I can't copy paste videos and images into the game I can't use my free form camera I can't keybind certain actions to keys like my number pad keys

I'm just done with VRChat

I only played this game for its final weekend before it closed
it's possibly one of the best experiences I've ever had even in desktop mode it was so beautiful
I am so sad to see the platform is gone now I miss it so much
even though I only played it for 2 days it was incredible
the game feels like a dream to me

anyways that is all I have this game was amazing and I'm so sad it's gone
