I've followed this game for a good while and after 100% it I felt empty inside, 10/10 game. Only two things I think new players should know is 1. This game doesn't really hold your hand well at all, if anything it sorta just holds onto your pinkie finger and then snaps it the second you try to do an actual run and 2. sometimes things are just set up so you're guaranteed to lose a run. It's not so bad when it happens early on but when you're into your 5th mystery and RNJESUS isn't looking down upon you today then oh well bucko, guess you better try it all over again. Despite that it's still a good game that I'd say is best experienced in small doses rather than sitting down to focus on it (unless you're going for the achievements). Also Aiko best character, 2nd place is Yumiko.

Ok, this is something to play when you're burnt out from playing games. It's a pretty short game but the quality is beyond great. I'm honestly bummed out because this is really just a one of a kind game that'll most likely be never made ever again (aside from some fan projects). The story itself is pretty simple to understand and digest but oml the gameplay and music goes so hard, it's fun just to replay through the entire game once in a while. Overall I'd say this is a must buy if you just want something completely new and unique.

Probably the best version of The Binding of Isaac overall. Honestly one of the most passionate games to ever exist and I'm glad it's stuck around for so long. The only complaint I can even think of is probably there's so much do to, but I don't even think that's a complaint but just me being overwhelmed. When playing I would recommend using some mods that tell you what items will do during playthroughs just to make it easier on yourself, plus a few quality of life mods also do wonders. Anyways yeah, buy the entirety of TBoI, from the og all the way to repentance and then enjoy hours upon hours of content.

Weirdly enough I prefer this over Hotline Miami. Maybe it's because I'm a filthy weeb, or maybe it's because I enjoyed how they do things to screw with the player when the mc starts missing his dosses . Whatever it is, Katana Zero is just a fun game with a really great damn story about drug addiction (there's 100% more to the story beyond drugs but this is the main one I got as a takeaway). So yeah, I'd say buy it if you want.

This isn't a DLC, this is an entire game within an already great game. Chances are if you're looking at the DLC page you're not really a new player but instead someone who has already played through the main game and is looking at more ways to help with your masochistic behaviour, and this "DLC" is the best way to help with that. Five new slugcats, each that may change the world in some way with even more rich story to experience and new creatures to fall in love with as you hear the death sound effect even more often than usual, all coming together to just give you more Rainworld content. Plus with this "DLC" you can bring your friends along and bully them about sucking as they die to a totally fair 1 v 5 that could've been easily avoided by using the pipe 50 meters away. To which then a vulture comes down to humble you and so you become a lot more quiet for the rest of the night. Actually tho, if you enjoyed Rainworld and want to play more Rainworld then this game is perfect for you.

This game makes me want to commit die in the best way possible. I'll start off by saying the usual to people who want to check out Rainworld. Don't buy this game if you think you're here to be a hero, you're just a part of the ecosystem and honestly pretty low on the food chain. While yes you can figure out ways to climb the ranks of prey to predator, every creature has the capability of taking you down in one move. Now, after saying all that, I personally would say this is a solid game to play if you want something truly new. The world, the environments, the story and the characters are all such high quality, I enjoyed exploring the areas and then watching videos to go into more details on how and why things happen throughout the timeline. This isn't really a normal game, as much as it's just an experience to play through and not enjoy, but understand. Also slugcat can do a backflip so that's just about enough evidence as you need to buy it.

I know not everyone likes meta stuff, but if you do or want a good starting point then this is 100% the game for you. Honestly all of Daniel Mullin's games are fun to play through and the only sucky part is that you can't really tell them to other people since it's better for them just to experience it and come to their own conclusions. In saying that, I will be impatiently waiting for Pony island 2 to release. Overall, you should buy it if you want a short meta game to play.

I haven't played the first game, only half played the second one, I also nearly got to the end of Half Genie Hero and haven't played the newest one in the series. In saying that, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is one of my favourite games, I loved playing through it and my only complaint is that I wished there was more end-game content so you can play around with Shantae's full movement kit a bit more. 100% would recommend buying it. Also the zombie girl is best girl.

Psychonauts is one, if not THE most creative games of all times (only thing that can beat it is it's sequel). Easily top tier and if I can run it on my crappy 10 year old laptop then anyone can play it. So buy this absolute gem of a game.
