This was my very first ever Souls game. I don't know why I wanted to play a Souls game but I did. It was a very shaky start and got smacked on bosses such as Crystal Sage and Abyss Watchers. After dying over and over again I finally got to the halfway point. I got to Irithyll and dropped the game for several months because I couldn't stand the difficulty spike. I recently picked this game back up and have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to the final boss of the game without too much trouble on any of the bosses other then Dancer and Pontiff. This game is such a great experience and has made me love these really difficult games because there is no greater joy than first trying a boss (My first was Dragonslayer Armour) or finally triumphing over a boss that has stomped you into the ground countless times. 100% worth the small price of $15 during the winter sale.

Do yourself a favor and buy this game. Love Terraria? Buy this game. Love Diablo? Buy this game. Love difficult games? Buy this game. I can't recommend this more. It is worth every penny I spent on it, even in it's early access state.
