This game has many (and I mean MANY) problems, and whilst usually I'd try to go in-depth as possible on some of my Steam reviews, I'm gonna try keep it brief as to not over inflate the word count of this review. (But I probably will anyway)

In Summation
Miraculous: Rise of the Sphinx is truly tedium at its finest.

You will find yourself exploring large and dull levels, backtracking constantly out of fear you've missed one of the many collectables sprinkled throughout (before you realised you are just locked out of getting all of them in any level until an almost full completion of the main story, to which you'll gain the ability to go back and try find what you missed).

It doesn't help when the camera itself is an active torment and struggles to function half the time and you constantly have to fight it. You eventually can do it all again because of an unlockable "hard mode" (which just equates to enemies having more health) for each of the levels, after you had to collect all the collectibles and beat the level the first time. There is also a harder New Game +, I didn't bother because yea no thanks.

There is basically no music to be found whatsoever (except for some instances and the main menu), and the blank space is occupied by the character you play as exclaiming after having jumped for the umpteenth time.

Normal enemy fights are a joke, you just wail on them until they die, regardless of the variation of enemy you fight. You have normal guy, big guy, projectile guy, football guy, shield guy etc. Technically you could stun lock any enemy infinitely if you wanted to, because yes you can do that.

Boss fights range from dodging with your fully-invincible-when-you-press-the-button Dark Souls roll for a minute dodging random crap until you can wail on them, just wailing on them regardless or, and I'm not making this up btw , a 10 question quiz with questions from the show, with answers you would only know if you've WATCHED THE SHOW. (I'm not even gonna explain why that's an issue).

It shouldn't have to take a second look to see how ick the models appear, or rather the lack of a good artstyle choice. In all honesty the models for our featured heroes Ladybug and Chat Noir don't look half bad, same can be said for some other non-important characters and a few bosses, albeit less detailed and/or refined. But otherwise in - game rendered cutscenes and most other models look atrocious and half the time they don't look rendered at all. Animations can be choppy and goofy on characters, need I go on.

The original voice cast returns to reprise their roles (when they get to in a cutscene), otherwise the game is explained through voiceless text boxes.

Multiplayer is a neat gimmick but lacks polish, and the inclusion of a "split-screen" when separated is useless as when player 2 strays too far they just die and respawn anyway.

The trailer literally spoils basically everything about the game, even the things that are supposed to be secret. Except for how they end up occurring. But yes all the bosses in the game are spoiled in the TRAILER.

Lastly, price tag. The classic licensed game agenda of trying to wring as much money from parents isn't lost here. 70AUD is absurd and that's not even talking about the separate DLC in the "ultimate edition" that cannot be bought on its own, to which you must fork over another 15 AUD. All for 3 costumes.

I'll give this game one thing though. It perfectly replicates the show. Adrien / Chat Noir do nothing in the main story (except for those last cutscenes in the last level, frankly it's the most he's done in recent years), Chloe is evil because the writers hate her, the artstyle looks trash, It's animation is wacky and goofy, and everyone are smooth brained purely so the plot can exist.

This game truly does exist purely to be a licensed Miraculous tie in game which is also canonical to the story of the show but isn't because it's never mentioned and ultimately doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Sounds about right.

When people ask me about memorable flash games as a whole, my mind immediately thinks of a funny game from CoolMathGames.com, where the only progression you can make in the game is by destroying clicking your mouse. The clicker genre is revered as a staple of the flash game era, with the frontrunners being Orteil's Cookie Clicker and this game, Clicker Heroes.

This game isn't complex initially, I mean you just click after all. A thought that may come to your mind might be "Baby's First Game". However, this game excels at accomplishing what many companies wish their games could, nailing the hook. We live in a society where insert social media here dominates the future generations by grabbing their short attention spans with videos crafted to shoot off neurons inside your brain that tell you "yes, this is good". Clicker Heroes achieves that same philosophy through the mind-blowing idea of number go up = good. When you start, you have no number, but when you click you now have number.

The thought of not paying attention in class and instead clicking the stupid mouse-pad of a school computer is something that has invaded the minds of all adolescents at least once. The thrill is that of a drug addiction, you just can't stop. Even when you have to reset your data when you swap laptops eventually, you just keep coming back. Until the point where the school has to ban Clicker Heroes and out of spite you find another website that has it, starting a vicious cycle.

It truly is the best feeling in the world.

No other game in my life has accomplished this (except when we went to Cookie Clicker afterwards cause they banned Clicker Heroes and that got banned as well lol).

As much as I want to enjoy this game that I paid 30$ for. The game has been abandoned fully by the devs as it has been removed from the Steam Store (and as far as I'm concerned there was no notice) and now keys on Humble Bundle go for 1000+ dollars.

This irritates me as I have what I can only describe as a game-breaking visual bug upon launching the game, to which I could only fix upon verifying the files of the game. I don't know if or when this will occur again. I'm unaware if others have also gotten this bug but it seems that this is just another one of the many bugs plaguing this game to not be fixed by not happening at all.

In all honesty, just play the 1st Clicker Heroes. It's more optimised, fully realised, It's not as complicated (and it also explains aspects of the game to you), still gets (some) updates and it doesn't cost 30 DOLLARS.

This isn't a game. This is an advanced torture method.

The fact that you might have to click on 1 door (of 26 doors) 100+ times shouldn't excite anyone (and considering the other reviews it doesn't). The fact you have to PAY MONEY for this is absolutely absurd.

(I got this from a random steam key pack fyi, personally I never CHOSE to spend money on this game).

This is not a game of patience or endurance, like the creator is trying to push on the store page. This game is a tedious slog.

You can't even use an autoclicker to help with the tediousness as every 5-6 doors you are forced to actually move your character down stairs in what can only be described as a scenery change between sections.

I, truly, wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

This is a game about cats (which supports real cats through purchase of said game) and how you must find all cats in a castle of cats, to save a cursed cat who was cat cursed by a human. Simple enough.

This game is your simple 'find stuff and click it' type game, but with cats. Honestly some of the cats are really hard to find. A handful of secrets are also sprinkled in there that have you looking for secret items and the sort.

This game also has a relatively easy 100% and Steam trading cards, always good.

That's all really to say about the funny cat game. Except the music goes hard af tho

Game is kinda good rn, the addition of crossplay in Season 5 helps with matchmaking times and the game has overall been improved overtime.

This game would heavily benefit going Free to Play as it would help it have a bigger playerbase than it does currently.

Generally it's a decent asymmetrical multiplayer game and frankly the only thing holding it back is not being F2P (it's already monetised in-game as such) but I guess the devs can still find a benefit to people buying it on sale.
