TLDR. Overpriced DLC and a generally unoptimised game that runs like crap no matter what you run it on

While I love the game and have played it extensively and have bought a few of the dlc myself i still cant get myself to support the greedy actions that the devs take

Pro's:

-probs the most realistic flight sim out there right now
-great community willing to teach you how to play the game
-very good looking game


Con's:

-the game just isnt optimised and runs like crap unless you have a super computer
-the game is a buggy mess, with many bugs still in the game from launch
-overpriced dlc
-dlc for your dlc (A10c II tank killer upgrade which is just a few new missiles for a plane you already had for 10 dollars more)
-pay to compete (if you dont have the fa 18c or any american planes you cant compete because they are the only ones that are actually fully detailed having very good radar systems that actually tell you what you need to know)
-devs dont update dlc in the game they just make it into a new dlc that you have to pay for. while this goes on with the a10c tank killer it also goes for the aircraft carrier which albeit wasn't a dlc before all it got was a better texture and some elevators leaving the old aircraft carriers still a glitchy mess.
-dlc for the steam version is broken and if you want to go over to the standalone half of the dlc on this store will not transfer over and half of it will
-the tf51 sucks ass
-the highest of the line Russian planes also suck ass
- all the american planes are busted af
-spontanious combustion when spawning in
-if the game isn't on an ssd and your joining a large server, have fun sitting in the loading screen



also food for thought prices for the dlc were raised a little bit ago.
