This game is a blast. Fun in singleplayer, but it really shines when on couch multiplayer. Pester your friends, fight frantically to be the hero to buy the best gear every level and escape the maze.
I play it regularly with my wife and a cpu player to add some chaos. But get three friends together and its hours of unending rants, screams, and laughter.
Definitely worth its whole price tag, a gem if you buy it discounted.
The fact that you uncover new gods, artifacts, final bosses in different plays adds to its longevity and replayability.
The pixel art is gorgeous. The voice that narrates the whole thing is great. It reminded me of tales fron the crypt, if tales from the crypt was good.
Its a refreshing title, creating a really well balanced asymetrical multiplayer.
