This is a great game. I haven't played Skyrim at all since buying this game and I was previously addicted to it. Not that Vox is so much better - it's completely different obviously, but equally entertaining and this one I can play for a half hour or an hour where with Skyrim I would have to set aside hours because I know I won't come out. Normally I do not like multi-player games but this one I do. You can choose to play against AI bots or humans or both. The basics of Vox are simple enough for the casual player like I tend to be but there are enough variations on equipment, environment and strategy to keep even the hard-core players interested. You can usually find some humans online to play with but we would alsways welcome more. There is an active Discord community for support and help. This game is worth the price even when not on sale. Buy it and see you in there. It is fun.

I cannot say enough how much I have enjoyed this game. I am not a gamer outside of VR and have never played any other Fallout game. I have about 300 hours into this and I'm about level 58, so most of my first play is behind me but I foresee playing it again or keeping going a while just to develop settlements, etc. I love the plots. I love the graphics BUT I don't understand why they can't be totally clear like the screenshots I see from the 2D non-VR game. I am on a Vive Pro with a 1080ti + 8700K + 16GB. Any tweaks I have tried to make to the graphics settings always yielded more negatives than positives so I've always gone back to the defaults/built-in settings. The immersion is great. At the beginning there were a few times I played so much I didn't know if it was A.M. or P.M. There ARE some annoyances with the controls but I have learned to get around quite well and do what needs to be done and usually don't have to think about it. I talk to a couple friends who have played the non-VR version and from what I gather there are some differences that seem to emerge naturally. For example, I don't use VATS at all. I think the shooting and aiming are so natural you don't need VATS. As for crashes, I have had about three times where BAM - the game just disappeared. I don't think that is bad for that many hours on software this complex. I save before any major battle, decision, etc and do Quicksaves as I'm roaming around. A couple times something goofy happened (like a quest would not complete) where I had to exit and re-start but I think at this point most of the bugs have been worked out. One issue that continues is that in some areas of the Institute the gaphics are shaky and the Institute is beautiful so that bugs me (i.e. how much hardware do I need?) Now I am spoiled and I don't want any game that is not the size and quality of this one. I bought Skyrim but I am saving it for after FO4. Note to Bethesda: I would pay much more for another similar game in VR but it needs to be solid, very few bugs & crashes. BUY THIS GAME! IT IS HUGE FUN!

This is a really fun game when voice commands are working. We should be OK through the end of 2018. It is fun to learn the game using the voice commands and it is fun to play with other players if you can find a crew that is equally matched to your skills. The graphics are really good and when you are giving commands to Engage and Fire it is almost like being there. I plan to install the Next Generation DLC that comes out 7/25/18.

I don't think there is infinite playtime here because there are a fixed number of missions, but I think you will find plenty to get your money's worth.

UPDATE JULY 2020: NO MORE VOICE COMMANDS. GAME SUCKS. DON'T BUY.

This thing is awesome. I mean literally, "awe inspiring". Just saw my first show. It was called N-FOLD, or maybe that's who made it. I don't know what I was expecting but I think it was something like this, only this exceeded my expectations. Intense psychedelic graphics plus matching music. It was very cool being in there with other people. Even though there were about 20 people in the lobby cave, when you went into the show it is limited to 4 each room for a more intimate experience. I think this was a good decision on there part. I wouldn't want too many people, but I might like to try it with say, up to ten. Mine froze up a couple times and one time I had to reboot PC and got a No Bootloader Found, error but it was bogus and it booted on the next try. One time coming back in, it told me they were having network problems and I had to try about three times to get back in the game. Once in the actual "show" the system seemed more stable. Hey, for free, early access beta, THIS THING IS GREAT! The most "immersive" VR experience I've had yet!

WOW, That's a lot of fun for four dollars. If there is a test to see who's vulnerable to vertigo in VR, I can't imagine a better test than this game. I started out rocketing right into the side of the crater and all I could think of was falling on the sharp edges of my wooden furniture and trying to figure out how I was oriented. Then when I hit the wall I had to just close my eyes until the collision noise stopped. But I made it through several rounds without puking or falling and hurting myself. It would also be nice if one side of the universe could somehow wrap to the other so I don't have to hit the blue curtain at high speeds, though that was still not as bad as hitting those craters and moon rocks.

There were a couple of times when I swear I was looking right at the sign and my goals were complete but the flag would not deploy. It just swapped from hand to hand.

I loved the rave gun. I didn't even try the other gun that was offered.

I loved the white booster tubes.

I got stuck in a black hole and I think I had to go forward or backward a level to get out. Shouldn't something more definitive happen, i.e. without my action?

Flying around was fun just by itself, except for the blue curtains. I didn't have great control, but I've only been in the game once. Also, I think I may have skippied between levels a couple times without completing just because I was pushing the wrong buttons.

I read the reveiews and understood that the game had some problems before I bought it, and for $2 it sounded about right, just mainly on the fact that there is no repeat play and it's a short ride.

What I found is that it seats me too low in the cart. I can't really see out of the cart very well, this kind of ruins even the 60 second ride.

So if they fix it, I would definitely pay a couple of bucks for it for a one/two time ride. Otherwise, if I had a really tall barstool I would bring it in here by the computer, but I don't. I also tried standing up but that wasn't going well on the roller coaster.

This game is very short, just a few minutes, but once I realized it is a "Demo" I can only look forward to the full version. I am not a history buff, but it is an interesting story. I think the graphics look promising, and I really liked where we go underwater. If the full version is reaonably priced, I will probably be a buyer.

This is great! Just try it! My real (I think) friend and I today were just joking that my VR gear could be a money saver because I could be living in a sh_thole and still believe it was great due to my VR headset. An hour later, I discovered Bigscreen, and BAM, I'm not in my crappy apartment watching my old junk TV - I'm in a beautiful apartment watching a huge TV! No need for a $2500 big screen when I can buy a $2500 VR rig instead and it comes with furniture!

Seriously, though, the concept of being able to get together with distant real-life friends in a virtual location is intriguing. A phone call is nice but being able to watch a movie together would be All I have to get them to do is take their next vacation money and spend it on a VR rig instead.
