It's fun, it is an easy going time killer, and a very long campaign. Which I have still not completed.

Buy it for the generated combat music track! Then actually play it and have fun!

It is okay for what it is worth. The AI is juvenile. It has poor balancing for 'skill', but being a demolition derby it's not about racing skill all that much. Be prepared to be corner bombed in EVERY corner, the cars will pester you incessantly, purposefully destroying themselves to eliminate you. Some will have that singular mission, and not even really attempt to race. Specifically there to grief you. Otherwise it is the best game going for this genre, AFAIK. I can recommend it, best on a deep discount. It's a passing effort with some very nice qualities, but the extremely poor AI is a limiting factor for the fun potential.

I wanted it to be better, and at first it was very interesting and compelling. And at 5.99 it should be a value. As you reach the top cars the tracks become more and more disjointed.
Ever smaller and tighter, more curves, sharp turns, jumps, etc. Every thing contrary to a high speed performance vehicle. All of the worst attributes for top end cars. It's a transparent wall you don't realize you will hit by trying too progress. At the low tiers the tracks and car ability are nearly perfectly matched, and the reason I enjoyed it so much from the outset. It soon became apparent that all late game races will be in tightly constricted, confined tracks, highly angular, and twisted. With no real opportunity to see what the cars can offer. You will never get to stretch your legs for a high speed, fast-paced ride. The current development track seems to be more of the same. Ever tinier tracks to ping-pong around in, devastating your car, and sucking all of the fun out of racing. They should call it car cornering simulator instead, nothing more than C-class(still too much) should be racing on interior streets.

I don't hate the game, I hate that I did not understand it. I assumed something like a better asteroids, it is not that. Which is my fault entirely, they still put the effort and time required to create a near seamless game, free or bugs, and errors to the extent that the game is complete, and thorough. It's just my attitude wasn't. It is a challenging and considered game, well conceptualized and executed. It has the hallmarks of a job well done, and I should acknowledge that first and foremost. I would say give it a try, just pay attention to why and what the game is actually about, more so than I did. And while I don't 'like' it or think it's 'good', I very well could be wrong in terms of what others may want. It is however is GOOD product overall. The music is wonderful, as well.

Few games in my life ever make me despise them, I almost feel inclined the same towards the music. It is a rare thing for me to harbor misgivings about music. If I paid more than 50c or a dollar, I will regret it. If you venture forward then just know the remainder of the game is veiled by vague clues, and the community who holds the answers will only reveal things on discord.
And I played (Atari)ET the one they buried in a landfill after collecting as many copies as possible to do so. Or if you enjoy eating rage, feel free. This is it for you.

It's a toss-away game. TBH. Just semi-poorly coded pixels. While it can be mildly entertaining something of a bit of mediocre fun. It certainly is not worth retail price(thankfully only 2 bucks at full price, but you may have more fun at a gumball machine). Very little depth, or breadth. And while I don't dislike or hate it, it simply isn't that good, granted with some mild re-playability. It is soon apparent that this is, simply it. Mobs are able to spawn nearly directly beneath the vehicle. And at all times they despawn distant mobs that you escape from for them re-appear right next to you. Getting and using repairs is almost a given no(In a game where you cannot afford to sit still). And tracking projectiles. For the reduced price I paid, all-in-all not a total loss, it will charm briefly, it just wears thin quickly. I just can't 'recommend' it to someone w/o a deep discount, and some disclaimers.
