Intriguing take on city-building. Will keep an eye on it's progress.

Great fun, Pay to win, as to be expected from FTP. However it is engaging enough to still be fun. While having access to a majority of tech, resources, etc. Random bouts will get the inexperienced player spanked, by seal-clubbing down-tier camping try-hards who love to pad stats with noob death. But still a fun game. Nothing quite like it on the market. Kind-of like playing pool, inside a pinball machine. Nothing like blapping a ship 10-12 miles away, who had no clue it was on the way.

Great stand-in for Maxis, since EA trashed them. Shame.

So, far, excellent game. Beautifully rendered UI's. Sleek and lovely landscapes. Math that seems to work. And super subtle and pleasing aesthetics. Superb work from this dev! Kudos.
It is not as simple as Simcity to layout, and comprehend, but the payoff to getting a sustaining city is sublime. This would be a grand successor to Simcity, Maxis would be proud of this.

As well the studio has returned to the title to update and improve it even beyond the great game it was already, kudos to the dev's.

Don't pick up your storage containers, to move them, when full.
After hours of working on it, that is a tough 'hard lesson' to leave in the game, or inadequate testing. Infuriating. Otherwise it is a wonderful game, with a super soundtrack. My favorite is RAFT Music OST - #3 (Dreaming on Sea). Well worth the price, especially if on sale.

I could not recommend this as a 'city-builder'. It isn't. It's a quasi-city-builder, with a scripted plot line and city-building elements(some, poorly implemented). That cannot be deviated from. And, some parts/sections(large maps) lag badly. Expect to have system specs for this game. It's not Simcity, with bad weather. It's much more challenging than that. I don't think you can play a straight game, in order to progress at all, you must take a side. Against your own better judgement. Because both avenues are terrible. Why pick either?

I've done many hours now. For all it's melodrama, it is not 'fun'. The 'Faith', and 'Order' thing is a thick and heavy influence throughout the game. And a bit overplayed. It shows itself to be the actual main focus of the game. Don't buy it thinking it's a city-builder. It's a choose your own adventure about social commentary/engineering, with terrible random(sickness) mechanics, and endless catch-22 moments. I'd play something else, imho. I prefer my city-builders without faux-philosophy lessons. Because both options are equally bad, and Adaption is not a viable self-sustaining chain.

This is a wonderful little tower defender. Wonderfully illustrated. The roller ball field of view is novel, I love it. Simple, and effective game-play, I would recommend this to any player! I really hope they will return to this and give it one more pass in development. The cards where added later, and are a great bonus to getting an affordable re-playable game. Please let the music play on the steam music player!
