As an RPG this game is a 2/10. As an open world exploration game with RPG elements, this game is at least 9/10. It has seamless environmental story-telling, the glowing sea is probably my favorite location in any Fallout game and the combat is immensely improved when compared to the earlier installments of the series. Power armor actually feels like power armor and not just a better armor. In fact, the power armor is basically it's own play-style in this game. The companions are also worth talking about, It's one of my favorite things to come out of Fallout 4 and I hope Bethesda keeps the same companion system in their future games.

The main story is not anything to brag about. The Institute is by no means an interesting or compelling antagonist, they are literally just evil scientists.
The Brotherhood of Steel are just a bunch of racist ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who would kill one of their own must trusted paladins if they turned out to be a synth without even considering their side of the story.
The Minutemen are just stereotypical good guys, literally the only agenda they have is to help the people of The Commonwealth without asking for anything in return. You know, the exact opposites of the kind of people you would expect to find in a nuclear wasteland.
The Railroad are a faction that gets more hate than they deserve, they have no grand ideals of saving the world or anything like the other factions do, they just want to help synths get a new life and be free people. So it makes little sense when you can use them to wipe out both The Institute AND The Brotherhood of Steel. They are pretty weak as a faction and they feel unfinished, rushed. It feels like Bethesda started on a fourth faction and never really got to finish it. The game also suffers from the fact that you always only have 4 dialogue options, no matter what, when sometimes you would need more and occasionally less. The voiced protagonist is not something I want to see return, but at least it's fun to listen to their delivery of the sarcastic lines.

Nuka World is an interesting location, but the story is a big let-down in comparison to the DLC that came before it: Far Harbor. It's fun to explore, and it's got some cool unique weapons that you can find, but I rarely get around to playing it a second time because of how tedious it becomes.

Far Harbor however, is a phenomenal DLC! It takes most of the problems of the main story and fixes them! The factions of Far Harbor actually feel like real people with their own motivations and concerns. You can see each side of their arguments and understand where they're coming from
(the Children Of Atom are a stretch but whatever). It has choices that actually matters and can make the story turn out differently and it still manages to introduce new fun locations in the middle of all that, so if you want to buy only one of the DLC's, this is the best option.

TLDR; Good game, not good story, not good factions, Far Harbor best DLC, Nuka World is only fun the first time around.

i have played this game a long time and here is my opinion: you have 2 ways of playing this game; which is stealthy and loudly. You can sneak up on zombies and stab them in the head, shoot them in the face with supressed guns or just avoid them. But you can also go on a massacre with a chainsaw or a LMG and go all Rambo style or you just snipe from a far distance and then go in and take all the loot and if as this wasnot enough: LOOK AT THE WORKSHOP!!! Unturned has like the largest workshop on steam! And then there is PvP and easter eggs and secrets and a HELL OF A LOT more! I highly recommend this game to both FPS players AND TPS players, oh i didn't tell you that? You can shift from First Person to Third Person too! Awesome isn't it?

it's not very often you find a good WW2 game for free these days but this is just...AWESOME! if you don't have the money or the neccesary things to play Call Of Duty WW2 this is a great option! The graphics are good, the gameplay is smooth and the costumizing is SURPRISINGLY good. I really recommend this game for everyone who likes FPS games. It's awesome.
