An amazing game, that all Mecha genre lovers need to experience.
The return of an amazing Series, the same series that sparked my love for giant robots you can Pilot!
The game's bosses are really hard, if you're stubborn, and don't build for them. Good or bad thing? Very arguable; however, at the end of the day. They're really fun, and its clear FromSoft has used a lot of lessons from their time with SoulsBorne.
The amount of replay ability that's encouraged with NG +. and even NG ++ is gonna give you a good time!

Going past all the server issues, which will be fixed when people leave, and as patches are applied.

The game is fun, and surprisingly skill-based. While at surface it seems very mindless, Learning the abilities given to your mobile suits. Really makes you feel like a Mobile suit Pilot.

Lets just put it into perspective. I played 3 hours of this game, hyped for it. Got disappointed, and feel no drive to play. Haven't played since Release day.
I was expecting to be disappointed by the Dead Space Remake, and have sunk 40 hours into it, only 2 weeks after its release.
Looking for sci-fi survival horror? Go buy that in stead. lol

I'm currently up to Chapter 8 as of writing this review, and I can whole wholeheartedly recommend this remake. Its plain, and simply fantastic. A direct upgrade from the original, in pretty much every regard. It has issues crashing my entire PC more than I'd like. But its just so good, that I can overlook that. I hope this marks the revival of the Dead Space franchise, but wouldn't mind if it was just a one-shot project.

Most of the negativity I see around this game, is either performance issues, which is entirely fair. But the other majority are complaints of "woke-culture" being injected into Dead Space? Very VERY synthetic sheep-Ahem*... Cheap, complaint. Lmao

Lets also not forget people bringing up the point that, EA gutted previously Visceral. To that all I have to say is, its a better game than Callisto Protocol; which was extremely disappointing. lol

Early Access Review
An amazing experience through, and through. As someone who plays barely any horror games whatsoever, a genuine recommendation is given, to horror lovers, AND non-horror players alike. This is ESPECIALLY true, if you're looking into an entry-way into the genre. The game itself is not one that crutches on jump-scares whatsoever, but instead purely creepy, chilling, dreadful atmosphere, and design. I've been looking for a horror-game to jump into with friends for awhile now, and this game is the PERFECT scratch for that itch. It being in early access, I am impressed with how well the game runs, absolutely no crashes, on top of a good variety of interesting, in-depth, yet simple game-play concepts. I very eagerly look forward to seeing where this game goes, with potential new ghost-types, models, behaviors, maps, hunting-equipment, and progression.

I feel as though the larger maps, like the high-school, and asylum would benefit from a player-capacity increase to 5, as it can be pretty tiring, and tedious at times looking around countless empty rooms, or having to haul-ass back to the truck, for equipment. if balancing is an issue, you could come up with some sort of equipment to buy, that allows the extra player, or two.

As a personal note to the developers; PLEASE, NEVER-EVER start implementing any major sudden jump-scare designs. That would, in my own tastes, completely ruin ANY drive to play the game.

If you can stick through the terribly GRUELING process of setting up, and updating GFWL, and look past no steam achievements. This is a great game to get together with your buddies, and have some good 'ol fashion arcade style co-op shooter fun. BE AWARE that it does tend to have crashing issues if you, 1]skip cutscenes, and 2] are between mission loading screens. Also be aware that the initial sign in for GFWL will take an exceptionally long time. 5-15 minutes, which is heinous in 2020. Capcom, just jump to steam fully pls.
