game completely freezes on opening cutscene, I have been told to turn off steam overlay, limit the fps, turn down the settings, update my drivers, press enter the moment the cutscene starts, and wouldn't you know it none of these fixes worked. The fact that this problem exists at all(let alone is common) is unbelievable for a 60(+)$ game. before anyone asks, my computer meets the recommended system requirements. Guess this game is only for people with 4080s until the launch day patch.

the premium version of the game is not a season pass, you'd get more bang for your buck by just spending the extra 20$ in the in game store, which'd be enough to get you 2 premium warbonds as opposed to the one warbond, stupid armor, boring arcade machine, and shiny title of the super citizen bundle.

The fact that they advertised that they were going to add my favorite weapons from the first game for free had me so excited and then they locked it behind a new premium battle pass, and the only way to get it for free requires immense luck and an insane amount of grinding.

The first helldivers gives you more for your money, has less grinding, is far more balanced, and actually made all of the weapons fun instead of nerfing the fun ones to make them equally ♥♥♥♥.

I will change this if either the premium warbonds become realistically earnable, or the game fixes its balancing issues. Until then just go with the original Helldivers.

update: they added something even worse than bad balance, they kept the region lock.

Cruelty Sqaud is a stroke in a can and once you have a sip, it's tendrils latch onto your mind. it leaves a mark a show of your curse; the knowledge of this game. it somehow maintains a consistent depth akin to the Mariana trench, still despite all that I have done in it I have barely scratched the surface... you pick up an onion and start peeling.

only played it for a bit over an hour but I can feel(and see) the depth already, I feel super strong already but the game too is getting difficult quickly. although it has tones of and references to suicide as someone who lost family close members to that sort of thing, it doesn't really upset me. the game's a lot of fun so far and has amazing visuals.
I can't wait to be able to put it's achievements on my profile!
