Sonic Generations is still as good as it was before. Not much had change with it beside some small stuff like collectible chao or drop dash added for both modern and classic Sonic.

Shadow Generations is simply amazing. The best 3d level design and overall gameplay. Shadow controls amazing compared to the predecessor, Sonic Frontiers, where I thought Sonic controls were extremely janky. Shadow's Doom powers are great and a better addition than something like the Wisps power ups seen in a few Sonic games. Level choices are good except for the fact that Shadow's own game doesn't get level for some reason.

While I did like Chaos Island, it was a strange choice for a stage as it is obviously reused asset and Shadow wasn't even in Sonic Frontiers. Whereas something like Westopolis or Sky Troops would be better fit than Chaos Island. Still, all the levels have multiple paths and agency to make the player actually interact with the stage. Unlike something like Sonic Forces where the game plays itself. With Kingdom Valley being my favorite stage.

The overworld is also amazing as I think this overworld is much better than what is seen in Sonic Frontiers. Its smaller than Frontiers' overworld, but is more enjoyable to explore for collectibles than Frontiers. A lot of the challenges are platforming are much more interesting than the ones seen in Frontiers.

Music is amazing as always like any other Sonic game. With my favorite being Second phase of the Final Boss theme as it is a All Hail Shadow remix or Chaos Island Act 1.

My only problem with the Shadow Generations is that is also short like Sonic Generations. It is a bit longer than Sonic Generations but it is still short overall. I recommend this game for newcomers and old Sonic fans. You get two amazing games, with the best gameplay and level design in the whole series.

Still a great game, although the remastered graphics does not look good as it seems way to shiny and not being able to remap buttons like the quicksteps still being on the joystick rather than shoulder buttons like in games like Unleashed. Even though there way too many 2d sections, Sonic stills really wells aside from the drift being way to slow to use well unlike in Generations. Level designs are mostly good although some are really bad, as some are auto levels or just short sections from other acts. The levels becomes much better after unlocking all the wisps as, it makes the level extremely fun to explore and opens new paths to discover.

Wisps are put to good uses here unlike in later games like Forces. Some wisps are better or more fun than others, Spikes controls a bit janky while Drill really opens up the levels for exploration making the level really fun to explore. The new Wisp , the Jade Wisp, is neat but is nothing mind breaking. The Jade Wisp allows Sonic to travel to specific parts of the stage that are Sonic normally cannot pass through himself or with other wisps.

I did not play at launch so I did not experience any visual bugs or any bugs at all, but there might some other players might still encounter this bugs so beware. Otherwise still a good game.

Probably my favorite Sonic game to date. Modern Sonic's boost gameplay is the best its been, and they nearly perfected it in this game. Classic Sonic is not one to one with the Genesis titles, but still feel extremely fun to play especially with his strong Spin Dash.

The levels are also some of the best in the boost games so far with the only bad level in this game being Planet Wisp for both acts. My personal favorites being City Escape, Speed Highway, and Sky Sanctuary. The amount of love that went into this game is astounding like with the large amount of remix musics ranging from games like Sonic R or even Sonic Battle.

I recommend this game for fans and newcomers.

Cute and Funny asides, the game is good. The biggest problem for me was the environments. The environments were boring and simple in my opinion, couldn't really remember most area that I visited since none of them stood out. The dungeon in the beginning portion of the game was confusing when backtracking for items like the magic upgrades. The areas needs something big to make them stand out or memorable, rather than just generic castle or mines.

Combat is good, although on the easier side. Haven't played new game plus yet, so I don't know it the difficultly ramps up as magic kinda just carried me. Especially with lighting magic as it felt like the strongest mostly because of its slowing down time. Overall, a decent game.

Early Access Review
Really fun rogue like game. Super addicting and fun. Nothing too mind blowing, but it is still a really fun game.

While I do recommend this game, you are gonna have to mod this game just for some quality of life features. I couldn't really play this game without mods as its definitely one of those game that shows its age. The worst offender is the camera in this game is horrible especially in small areas. The camera suffers from early 3d era type of camera like Super Mario 64. The camera is most likely the reason, you will get lose a life most of the time.

There are several characters, but Sonic has the best gameplay and stages by far with Speed Highway being my favorite. The others are a mixed bag as most just reuse Sonic's stages. Tail's stages feels like a easier versions of Sonic's as he can completely cheese them with his flight. Tail's stages are boring overall. Knuckles is playable, but is nothing too special unlike his stages in Sonic Adventure 2. His stages are a bit too bare bones and small overall as they are just Sonic's levels. Amy's stages suffers the worst from the terrible camera as her stages are mostly enclosed spaces while her gameplay is just a slower version of Sonic. She has a Resident Evil 3 type of idea where there is a enemy that chase Amy throughout her levels, although just not as interesting as Nemesis in Resident Evil 3

Gamma's stages are alright, but way too short. Gamma's Emerald Coast stage for example, ends at the beginning portion of Sonic's Emerald Coast. His gameplay would be interesting if his got stages built for his gameplay as Gamma has time limit for each stage. But those time limit really doesn't matter, as his stages are way too short. Big's gameplay is easy, but by far the most boring out of all the characters. It is a really basic and boring fishing minigame that has very little depth.

But still, the ending fight is fun especially with Live and Learn playing in the background. Sonic's stages are the highlight of this game. The open world isn't anything too special as its still the early 3d area type of games so there isn't really much to explore at all. The upgrades that each character gets are usually just useless like Amy for example has a spinning hammer attack that only works when standing still, which is completely doesn't really work in her stages where she is running away majority of the time and she has little to no combat encounters in her stages. Would still recommend this game, just mod it for some quality of life features.

Definitely a fun game to go through despite some flaws. The gameplay and stages for Sonic and Shadow are some of best in the game, with multiple paths and spectacle with stages like City Escape or Radical Highway. Tails and Eggman are a mixed bags, Eggman's stage are more well rounded than Tail's overall. Both are shooter style games but they can be bypassed as killing enemies are only really required in a few sections. Knuckles stages were fun and really enjoyable to explore. Rouge on the other hand, while having the same gameplay as Knuckles, her stages are probably less fun then his especially Mad Space.

I didn't touch the Chao Garden as it didn't interest me, but some might find it fun if they like to take care of creatures and raising them. The biggest problem in this game for me was the camera, especially for Eggman and Tail's stages where the camera was at its worst. Camera is locked most of the time and is set to auto for some reason when it is better to set it to free camera.

Overall a good game despite showing its age at times.

Wonderful love letter to Hololive and its still a great game to those who aren't into vtubers. Love the addition of Holohouse and the roster of idols chosen.

But please add Laplus Darknesss and Koseki Bijou, I need them to for my kusogaki group with Gura, Shion, and Kobo 😭😭😭

Team Fortress 2 is one of my favorite games (Besides Black Ops 2 and Majora's Mask). The gameplay loop is incredibly fun and has some of the best design maps within the industry. It is not without is flaws however, Free to Play Players are heavily limited until they buy something, Cheating problem due to faulty/bad anti-cheat systems, lack of updates/roadmap from developers. In the end, the game is still a hallmark of gaming and is still fun to this day.

Update: No longer recommend this game to new players, as it is infested with hackers and cheaters. Community servers are still there, but there isn't enough active servers on certain parts of the world or get filled quickly.

Finding a community server that is playing a normal game of TF2 can be hard since there is not a lot of community servers that provide that. As said before, those normal servers are either dead, filled, empty, or on the other side of the world so players will have to experience bad connections. I still loved this game, but played it less because playing a normal game of casual is impossible and normal community servers are hard to come by.

You most likely want to get this for the zombies. Multiplayer is split 50/50, if you are gonna like it or not. Campaign is bad storywise and uninteresting gameplay wise. Overall zombies is the huge factor due to fantastic modding community. Recommended for zombie players.
