对伊丽莎白来说，一切都是故事，她生活在笼子中。看的是来自书中的故事来了解世界，那么世界也就自然成了一篇上好的故事，而外面的世界就是如此美好的新书，伊丽莎白痛恨杀人，也就和我们痛恨故事中的黑暗一样，仅此而已。而布克不是，他经历了太多血与火的战役，即使他不愿如此，两个格格不入的人成为了旅行的伙伴。对我来说，这是当之无愧的本世纪第九艺术的瑰宝。祝愿每个人都能找到伊丽莎白这样的女朋友，或是布克德威特这样甘愿赴汤蹈火，为之赴死
