The amount of depth this barebone's shooter is really surprising. I've played this game pretty off and on for about 4 years at this point and would say its a good game and I'm gonna start with the bad. Matchmaking isn't really all that fun to play by yourself and I find the non prime experience to be lukewarm at best with the amount of smurfs the game has and locking better lobbies behind a paywall that costs as much as the game was before it went free to play is stupid but at least your able to grind for prime status. The anit cheat in this game is so old and so bad that you can literally use cheats from counter strike 1.6 and they will still work. Valve makes way to much of this game and Team Fortress 2 to not improve there anit cheat software. Matchmaking with friends is a blast and I've some of my best gaming experiences from it and love this game with a group of friends. The skins having monetary value makes buying and trading them almost a whole different game. If your unboxing creates instead of just buying the skins from the market your just gambling and be prepared to lose money doing it because your odds of even breaking even on a case is slim. It's rabbit hole and I'd recommend only opening cases if you've got a couple of dollars in your steam account that you can afford to lose. The latest operation is a lot of fun and I like the new rewards system and being able to pick up what you want from the shop is pretty sweet and the workshop maps and community servers are great especially surfing. Would recommend trying out for a few hours with some friends at the very least but don't get to frustrated with the recoil systems. It's not very forgiving to new players.

I've been playing since year 1 session 4 and have played through the majority of the seasons through the years. Ubisoft really did something right with this game. I've meet so many people in the game an have some of my best experiences on PC with it. Most of my gripes with this game are concerning how Ubisoft manage's toxicity and censorship, they really go overboard with disabling text chat by default and punishing you for using no no words. The text chat is policed more then Roblox. It's always been crazy fun with friends and addictive as ♥♥♥♥ to try to get good at.

Honestly, nothing gets your heart racing like being in the last 10 alive in a solo. It's a 30$ adrenaline rush and I never regretted my choice of buying this game.
