Amazing game, If i play it, it turns into atleast a 6 hour session minimum. But they have some of the worst server security and it gets DDOSed like everyday and then you cant even play literally any part of it. Dont get it unless its super discounted or the DDOSing stops.

I will say this game is not for everyone. The top-down, pixel gameplay does turn off a lot of people but this game is amazing for what it is. Super complex and does have a bit of a learning curve and plenty to learn. I started this game on Kleans custom Multiplayer server back in March 2022 and thats where Ive spent most of my hours. This game is highly addictive and time consuming, especially with friends! Even in the base game, there is way plenty to do but its also amazing how open they are to mods and what mods are available now. Its also awesome to see the devs post the Thursdoids and communicate with the community.

Progressed to the point of the 3rd week in the Story mode with an extra 7 hours or so from the EA play early access. Played MP today for about 4 hours. The game plays and performs really well with almost no performance issues on my end.
Issues or dislikes include:
-Lack of character customization (facial/body models)
-Lack of many character/AI voice lines (cops or Rivals during races)
-The cartoon-ish style characters (the drift smoke is okay)
-End of races with heat levels will spawn you at a slower speed with cops right behind you even if you finished the race with none near you and traveling at a faster speed. End of race review should just be a passive notification
-Car wraps flicker around a little bit when scrolling through the lists, especially when you have a custom one on
-Free roam/MP doesnt seem to offer AI cars to fill the spaces which make it hard to find races sometimes. I understand its MP but you cant progress if you cant race.
-Would like to see some Prox chat/VOIP to communicate when not in a party. I dont have friends so Idk if you cna chat while in the in-game party system or not.
