This game is so fun and so freakin cute. I got to play it with my woman and It's worth every penny. There's a ton of goofy little minigames and ways to pick fun at eachother. The devs added a bunch of little gigs and gags here and there for if you want a break from the story (the story is absolutely amazing by the way, with amazing character development.) If you can get this, absolutely do it. The game has friend pass so you only have to buy it once. 10/10 in every way possible. The difficulty is also good for experienced gamers and new gamers alike with only one difficulty.

Theres no game more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than this other than fortnite itself. They can't leave the balance alone and instead continuously ♥♥♥♥ things that don't need to be changed.

Banger game, Banger sound design, Banger music, Banger Cars and car customization, Banger story so far, (kinda corny voice acting, but it's a 2019 game so..- and banger map.

Absolute recommend. It's good for those who want some of that technical gameplay without having to study a guide for 3 hours like you would in DCS. Extremely fun to copilot a buddy and hella fun to try out different types of weapons. Fun to play as an EWO as well.

This game is full of children who scream and shout brain-rot. Basically E+ rated COD. Can't get into a single lobby without some annoying ass kid shouting in my ear.

8 children in spacesuits with diabetes and a bit too high cholesterol try fighting each other until they eventually just exhaust themselves into unspeakably quick comas. and guns. which you can't disable.

They ruined the game by adding their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ranking system. I'm literally silver 3 going against max rank players when I have a 100% new player in my lobby. Get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ brainwash.

Combat remains tense, from spawn to extraction. The networking is kinda bad, but it helps if you open your firewall to "Forever Winter" on windows. (Just a little thing that helped me, not guaranteed to work for everyone.) The AI is not bad but if you simply accept the fact that it will get better later on then it's really not all that big of a deal. The first map you get to play could include some more cover especially around the spawn especially since enemies can spawn pretty close by. The animations are good and the graphics are astounding. The sound design is also very good but could use a little more bass in my opinion, but to be honest if you have good headphones it's still pretty damn immersive. The gameplay is fun and there seems to be a bit of a networking issue which honestly is my biggest gripe right now. After opening up my firewall i got a few hours steady without any issues before I got disconnected and eventually just decided to take a break for the day.

Do get the game if:
You're okay with unpolished content
You like tense shooters that keep you on your toes
You like milsims (couple of little bits in there I think milsim players would love such as t-80s)
You're not easily frustrated by bugs

Don't get the game if:
You're impatient when it comes to bugs, you can always wait till it's polished to your liking
You don't like epic games (you can connect an account, but i'm not sure it's 100% necessary)
If you prefer a more COD styled game, because this has alot of steal involved. (You're a street rat, remember?)
Losing some progress is a turn-off for you (You can run out of water and lose loot but keep character progress, the water drain is slow and based on real time it seems like. (1 in game day of water lasts 1 irl day))

If there was a maybe option, I'd choose it. The gameplay is a 6.5/10 at best. The crashes are not frequent enough for me to complain especially with it being early access but with how unpolished the AI is it's almost inexcuseable.

The AI problem:
As soon as you get spotted by AI, theres no way for them to lose track of you unless you're atleast 1/4th of the map away (consider the size of the map here guys.) I've had experiences where It's impossible to take cover because the AI can shoot even the smallest sliver of you if it's visible. This makes the game challenging yes, but personally for me? a bit too challenging. Most of the enemies take atleast 4 bullets to kill (your stater mag is about 8 bullets, and the gun isn't very accurate). Once you get a bit further into the game it becomes more fun. That is until they start throwing enemies with armor at you (these guys take from 8 to 10 bullets to kill which is a bit re▊diculous.

The market:
The market in the game is well balanced though, guns are cheap enough to inspire you to unlock them but also pricey enough for them to take a bit to unlock, and to feel gratifying to unlock. Ammo is at a cheap price, but a fair price because of how much bullets you will be using in a single mission (trust me, it ramps up quick ESPECIALLY for those longer expeditions we all love)

Graphics:
The graphics are pretty astounding, if you're a big scenery nerd like me then the scenery is absolutely good enough to make up for the fairly numerous bugs in the game (which i'll get to shortly.) The shadows are well done and are maybe a little too intense when in dark areas with a flashlight. The colors are so much better than the first game and they decided to give us a bit more variety while still managing to make the environment look dead and abandoned.

The maps:
So far I've gotten to the first to maps, the peninsula (first) and the forest (second.) The first map is a fair bit smaller but also a good bit easier to navigate. Forest however is bigger and has alot more enemies and enemy "checkpoints" (areas where enemies spawn along roads○, which does get a bit frustrating IMO considering they're the most reliable way to get around.)

The anomalies:
Compared to the first game, anomalies are alot more balanced, more numerous, and a bit more fun.
There are multiple types of anomalies (which I don't know the name of..sorry) that are each challenging in their own way. Some dissapear temporarily while moving, some make a small noise and rarely show themselves, and others are always visible, yet deadly.

Now for the bugs:
At some points your game will crash..a fair bit of times actually, which I haven't found the cause for (I'm not a dev and don't understand game design in the very slightest) Some objects are possible to grab through walls, some items when placed in your backpack will move each time you pull your backpack out, to the point where if you don't move the object back it will become too far from the backpack to actually reach. (Hasn't happened to that extent to me before, but it has for others, so watch out for that.) Enemies can sometimes shoot you even if you're 99.8% in cover, some terrain such as trees have too big of a hitbox, causing a near miss to absorb an entire shotgun shell when an enemy is taking cover behind it (one of the more frustrating ones for me.) Some items are extremely hard to grab in a pinch due to oddly placed "grab zones" which can be a pain for having a ton of close together items in your pouches or backpack. I'm sure there are more bugs that are in the game, but those are the ones that I've come across so far.

TLDR
Game has bugs, good scenery, pretty bad AI design that knows where you are most of the time making it impossible to stealth. Multiplayer's a bit buggy. Crashes are semi-frequent.

Recommendation?
For those of you who don't mind a fair bit of bugs and love scenery I'd highly recommend the game, even if it's poor item management system is a bit of a immersion breaker. The devs have worked hard on their first into the radius game and I trust that they will do that here, so if not now, I'd absolutely get the game after a few months of updates. Hope this helped some of you make a decision on whether you should get the game or not.

An absolute blast. The tutorial is relatively short but the game makes you play a couple missions to learn about everything which takes a bit but thats only because there's so much content that expands far beyond just the missions and objective types. There's somewhat of a class system but I wish there was a little leeway when it comes to what you're able to do/unlock with each classes primary gadget. EX: The diggers drills can't mine minerals, just terrain (could easily by added by adding an upgrade for it.) But there's still a fair share of options in the game. A blast to play with friends. I'm very picky when it comes to the games I play and the quality of those games and this game more than meets those nit-picks of mine. Would I buy the game again full price? Sure. Would I buy it on sale? Absolutely (that's what I did.)
