Back then, I was a little bit disappointed since the UI for the pc version wasn't very well thought of. If anything, it felt more like an emulator rather than an actual extension, except now the chat is limited and you can't really communicate easily with other people. However, the UI for PC has been revamped, and I can confidently say that it feels SO much better. Glad to see my childhood game being implemented to pc, and to those who want to try it out, go for it. There's no pay wall, and you can simply just play for fun.

Combat is nice and graphics are beautiful, but the game as a whole in my personal experience doesn't feel as rewarding knowing that you can get a billion silver in your first hours of playing since events literally allow you to pull items that are worth millions from your arse. I'm not the type of person who is pvp-focused, but I can say for sure that casual players or those who are getting to know the game will simply be decimated and taken advantage of by black desert veterans since the damage they deal is proportional to the amount of money they've spent through micro transactions. I'm not saying that Black Desert is pay to win, but it kind of felt more like a pay to progress kind of thing; the feeling wherein you spend money in a game but it ultimately leads you to the realization that it's clearly not enough. If you want to play for the beautiful design, limitless character customization, and wide variety of classes, then Black Desert is, without a doubt, a good recommendation. But, if you want to play an mmo with the sole purpose of climbing through the ranks in terms of damage output in comparison to other players, then I think you'll be better off searching for something more worth your time.
