Dead by Daylight, once hailed as the ultimate horror gaming experience, has turned into a pit of annoyance and disappointment. This game, which was once about thrills and chills, now gives you a frustrating and inconsistent experience that doesn't reward hard work and love.

Let's start with the simple truth: the more you try to love Dead by Daylight, the more it pushes you away with its lack of fairness and skill recognition. Spending hours playing reveals the game's true colors—it's filled with cheap tricks, repetitive strategies, and a toxic meta that suffocates any fun.

As a survivor, you'll often find yourself at the mercy of killers who exploit every loophole to secure easy victories. Camping near hooked survivors, focusing solely on one survivor until they're out of the game (a tactic known as tunneling), and using the same meta generator slowdown perks. Survivors aren't much better, relying on discord communication and second chance perks remains supreme, making chases feel pointless.

And here's the thing: survivors often resort to these strategies because they're constantly on the receiving end of killer tactics. When killers camp hooks or tunnel specific survivors, it forces survivors to adopt equally frustrating tactics just to survive. It's a vicious cycle where each side's actions only serve to escalate the tension and frustration, leaving both killers and survivors feeling like they're constantly fighting an uphill battle.

Sometimes I feel like there are only ten employees working on this game. The amount of time it takes for them to fix minor issues or bugs is ridiculous. What's even more frustrating is that when updates do arrive, they often manage to make things even worse. Patch after patch, update after update, Dead by Daylight doubles down on its problems. Instead of making thing right, they prioritize releasing new content to keep players engaged. It's a tactic to provide a brief sense of enjoyment and excitement, just enough to prevent players from uninstalling, ignoring the complaints of the player base.

Sure, they've made some attempts to improve things—like addressing Anti-Face Camp mechanic (which fails to serve its purpose and can be easily bypassed), nerfing certain perks or killers. But these changes are often too little or too late, failing to handle the game's underlying problems or make it more enjoyable.

In conclusion, Dead by Daylight is a game in decline. It had the potential to be great, but it's now a shadow of its former self due to the developers' negligence.
As someone who once enjoyed playing the game, I feel disappointed by its current state. It's just a reminder of missed opportunities and broken promises.

If you're thinking of playing Dead by Daylight, approach with caution. It's a game that often frustrates rather than entertains, leaving you feeling disappointed in the end. Save yourself the trouble and look for something better to play.
