If you want to waste your time, you should definitelly play this game. You don't hit anything because of the recoil that all the weapons in this game have, but the enemie kills you from very far distances over and over again and every shot hits. Not sure if there are just so many cheaters in this F2P game or if I'm just to stupid. Also... The respawn is super annoying. It's like... Getting killed after spawn immediatelly and wait 10+ seconds for respawn. Sorry, but I can't recommend it, even if the game looks amazing and has many nice features.

Played it a few rounds now. Was it worth the waiting? Well... Definitelly not. It's getting very boring very fast. It feels very unfinished, the balancing isn't good, the whole game just feels like if they had no idea what they want to make out of it. Also it's very annoying that you have to wait 5 minute to find enough players to start the game and then the round only lasts five minutes and you have to look for players again. So happy that this game was for free...

Edit: Another thing is, that the graphics look very outdated compared to RE:Village. It almost seems like if they have started the development of this game much earlier, with a older version of the engine. Otherwise I don't really understand why there is such a big graphical downgrade.

Oh and btw... It seems that there are already cheaters.

Nachtrag: So leid es mir als großer PB-Fan tut, aber mittlerweile kann ich das Spiel nicht mehr empfehlen! Mit dem letzten großen Update hat hat es extrem kaputt gemacht. Die Performance mit DX12 hat sich im Gegenzug zu DX11 um höchstens 2-3 fps verbessert, dafür dauert das Laden eines Spielstands nun gefühlt 5 Minuten lang. Mit DX11 gibt es dieses Problem nicht, doch hat man damit stattdessen das Problem, dass das Spiel sich nach dem Laden eines Spielstandes nun eine Zeit lang ständig aufhängt. Dazu kommt noch, dass das Spiel jetzt den doppelten Speicherplatz auf der Festplatte benötigt, weil die DX12 UND die DX11 Version automatisch installiert werden. Ich habe gesehen, dass heute ein kleines Update für das Spiel verfügbar war und dachte, vielleicht hat sich was getan, aber nichts.

Sehr schade. An sich hat das Spiel - Bis auf die stark veraltete Engine, was man an jeder Ecke merkt - Doch sehr viel Spaß gemacht.

The game is sadly dead. You can be happy if you find 2-3 players to play with. I don't really understand why, but I could imagine that it's cause of the lacking support. Also it doesn't really look amazing (it's not ugly, but it looks more like a ~2008 game. It was released 2017 btw.). The game itself is very much fun. You should get it when there is a sale and it costs ~5€.

Das wohl beste Spiel, das 2021 noch erschienen ist! Und ich dachte, davon sehen wir dieses Jahr wieder mal überhaupt keins. Ich kann ehrlich gar nicht mehr aufhören, es zu spielen! Auch wenn Taktikspiele eigentlich nichts für mich sind, bei RoN ist das definitiv anders! Und dabei ist es gerade mal im EA, was man zum Teil auch merkt, dafür läuft es aber wirklich schon sehr gut! Die knapp 35€ auf jeden Fall wert! Ich hoffe auch stark, dass wir mit zukünftigen Erweiterungen noch Sondereinsatzkommandos inklusive natürlich auch Einsätzen aus anderen Ländern sehen werden, natürlich dann auch mit passenden Uniformen, Ausrüstung und Sprachausgabe! Das wäre wirklich sehr cool! Und natürlich generell langen Support mit vielen Inhalten, bei einem solchen Meisterwerk!

Sadly this game is receiving very much hate by some players at the moment. The reasons for that are ridiculous: Because there is no pvp campaign mode? Well, just stick to L4D if you really need it that much. If I want to play pvp, I go play Battlefield or CoD, not a coop game like B4B for example in which the focus is clearly on pve. The game looks ugly or even like a smartphone game? Lol. Honestly, are this people high or drunk or something? I mean, don't expect a graphic miracle like BF2042 or FC6 here. I even would agree when it comes to animations since some of them really don't look perfect. But that doesn't mean that the game is ugly! In my opinion it looks very similar to WWZ, but the lighting, the effects, the first person mode and even some models and textures are so much better in B4B, this also makes it much darker and dirtier which makes it much creepier at the same time, just more like L4D was.

The game is simply amazing! It combines the good elements of WWZ with elements from L4D, which makes it so great imo. Just don't expect a L4D3 here and you'll definitelly enjoy this game if you like pve games like L4D, WWZ and Warhammer! Sure, there are some bugs in the game and things that I also don't like that much, but I'm pretty sure that this will all get fixed / changed in the future. Nothing critical so far. My complete review will follow as soon as I've finished the whole campaign.

Edit: Just finished the game and... Wow. It's damn good! I really hope that we will see some more campaigns and other new content, especially after that that final cutscene.

There are for some reason still some bugs left that already were in the Beta. For example:

- The AI is still very useless because it's completely broken
- You still have to reload your pistol after every round cause you have 0 ammo in it (how could the devs not notice that?!)
- Too many special infectets (even on rookie)

Also the game really needs some more balancing. "Rookie" is very difficult, especially for beginners, and there is no lower difficulty in the game. You simply take too much damage and die too fast. And please add a vote-kick option and the possibility to stock up our supplies if we already have to wait up to five minutes to start the game cause every player has to be ready, let us at least do this in that time.

All in all I would give the game a 9 out of 10 in it's current state. But the price is a bit too high in my opinion.

Buyed the game twice because I thought Aftermath is a completely new game lol. The description and the title really reads like it would be... Hell, even the thumbnail and the screens look like that (I mean... There are only screens of the content from the update here on Steam, except one, that one with the ship, but who the f*ck knows that if one has not played the game very often?!). I hardly believe that this is a coincidence. I think it's much more likely that it's intentionally confusing like that so that people which do not know that will buy the game one more time. Never seen something like that before... You guys really need that money, do you...?
It's just a DLC for WWZ with one new campaign, a new first person mode (which doesn't even feel that great imo), some more classes and a few new weapons. That's all the new stuff that I could find so far. The DLC itself definitely isn't worth the money. Maybe 10€ max., but not more. Well, at least I do own it also on Steam now. And I've "only" payed as much for the whole game as the DLC itself would have cost on EGS, soo... It's okay I guess. But if I would have known that I really wouldn't have buyed it yet and would have saved the money for B4B instead, which is the much better WWZ in my opinion.
For the game itself I only can say, if you expect a new, maybe even better L4D here, you will be really disappointed. If you want a new L4D, just wait for B4B, which is even developed by the L4D developers, it will be released in october.

Tolles Spiel! Vor allem Left 4 Dead Fans werden auch hier sicher ihren Spaß haben, das Prinzip ist sehr ähnlich, nur liegt der Fokus eher bei Nahkampf statt Fernkampf. Leider ist auch hier die Community teilweise recht toxisch, aber dieses Problem hat mittlerweile nahezu jedes Onlinespiel bzw. kenne ich bis heute keins, von dem man das Gegenteil behaupten könnte. Für die knapp 7€, die es aktuell kostet, definitiv empfehlenswert!
