It's just Dark Souls but HUGE. What is there to dislike?

A very fun game to play with fun people. requires some good cooperation and it's satisfying seeing how far you can go.

Probably not the best experience if the people around you are toxic tho.

I had multiple difficulties at first. Trying to pick this game up was a nightmare. The tutorials were intimidating and at first the combat seemed really clunky. I ended up dropping the game twice because I never knew what I was doing. The third time
I picked this game up, I had a few friends teach me the ropes and used longsword because I heard that the weapon was very good for learning how to play. As soon as I figured out how to play the game, I ended up getting hooked.

The combat is fun and the monster designs are really cool and their fights are entertaining, (although I do feel bad for them as well, which is why I prefer the less deadly option of capturing them unless i'm forced to slay). It's really enjoyable to explore new locales that you've never been to before and the creative liberties with your setups are immense the further you get into the game. As of now I've defeated Raging Brachydios, and the next monsters on my list would have to be Safi, Furious, and Alatreon (who i'm most hyped for because I heard it was really fun even if it is a dps check). My experience so far has been very enjoyable (except for Kushala. I don't like that fight one bit).

Currently Monster Hunter has consumed my life, and I am now obsessed with an elder-eating dragon that I want as an anthropomorphic girlfriend. anyways, I'd definitely recommend this game and I'm totally hyped for Rise.

P.S. A lot of the time I spent playing this game has been solo, with one exception in which my older sister wanted to hunt a Velkhana with me whilst grinding materials for the armor set. Love that fight btw.
