I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single farther to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for Christmas in 2021 from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, picked my character and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

This game could've been something, with the Gorgeous world thriving with different species, Character Design is creative and unique and the music fits the game so well, but the negatives hold this game down too much that i couldn't even finish the game. The story i can see what they are trying to do with it or where they are going with it but narration of the game (Since everyone and everything speaks gibberish) kinda takes you out of it, it's a cool concept but it feels like your in Autopilot as it takes you away from the game. The worst thing is the combat. The combat is awful awful and that's what you will be doing most of the game, it feels so clunky, when you hit character's it feels like your just punching paper like there is no impact no weight to it, and the stupid slow mo every time you kill an enemy at the end of every combat sequence.

PS2 Game

Jedi Survivor is a leap from its predecessor, It takes everything you love from the first game and just somehow makes it better, The combat feels heavy and nice keeping the souls-like style making it challenging at times, the customization is a lot more expansive, the parkour is more fluent and different ways you can traverse the planets, and the music is just beautiful. The Planets you explore are great, you will spend most of your time on Koboh which grew on me overtime especially when you start unlocking the different entry ways to new things to discover from side missions to a fallen Jedi temple or fall through the floor and end up in a monster pit. The story is amazing i would say at first the story takes a bit to get into, but about a quarter of the way it goes full throttle, performances are amazing and the cut-scenes look beautiful. The different Lightsaber stances are an awesome feature in which you can switch between 5 different lightsabers that make combat fun each time you play, performance was good i did have some frame drops a few times and the navigation system isn't great and hoping it could be improved upon in the next game. Overall Jedi Survivor is an Amazing game and Star Wars fan or not i couldn't recommend this game enough

Starfield is a game i been waiting for a long long time. My expectations were high and it delivered on some of it.I expected Fallout in space and honestly it is that. If you love Fallout you will most likely like this.The game is beautiful definitely Bethesda best looking game, character models look good but the Lighting and landscape is what steals the show. Planet exploration is fun with Procedural generation implemented in it with Handcrafted stuff on top but sadly the Procedural Generation bleeds through. It can be helpful in a way when you hop on a planet and you want some action for some XP or just want to head over there because Curiosity peaked but the down side of it, Is most of the time its just the same exact outpost layout with different kind of enemies.Combat is fantastic with great gun play and awesome role play abilities with different Traits and skills for your custom character. Story is good nothing special but the side quest's and faction quests are gems and honestly way better than the story. Music is on par with Skyrim might have one of the best soundtracks in Bethesda games history. Performance is rough (3070Ti & Ryzen 9 5950x) with about 45-50 Fps and in cities dropping to almost 30. Most cities are cool as well as they do feel alive & Vivid. Ship handling and combat are great with a frustrating ship building menu at first. Loading screens are a bit much sometimes ruining the immersive experience or doesn't feel seamless as it should be but they are 1-3 seconds. Overall Starfield is an Amazing Bethesda game and a good game in general, one that you could play for 100's hours and still find new things to do but with some issues and Procedural Generation ruining the game a little bit but it's worthy for a pick up and i'm excited to play it for years and years to come with Bethesda and Mod Support

Immortals Fenix Rising is almost a carbon copy of Zelda BOTW but i found myself enjoying this game way more than BOTW, However the game is held down by the amount of obnoxious and tedious puzzles lurking in every corner, controller issues, and a forgettable story. The story is not too bad, it's a cool aspect of having to save different Greek Mythology gods, but it's just so shallow and forgettable. Some Puzzles are actually quite fun and really gets you thinking, but the majority of the puzzles in this game do not work sometimes due to the way the game handles. The amount of puzzles in this game made me just lose motivation on completing the game but you have to do the 40 puzzles before you can fight one boss to progress through the story. Everything else in this game is great, The art style is Stylistic and beautiful. Combat is amazing, exploration is wonderful, the different ways you can achieve or complete stuff is amazing

Hogwarts Legacy is one of the best open world games in awhile, I'm not a big Harry Potter fan but i loved playing this game. When released the game had bad optimization for me such as Horrible Frame dips and frame Rate. I came around wanting to play this game again and i noticed the performance still wasn't the best but the game was much more enjoyable than launch. The story is alright nothing great or amazing, Graphics are tremendous except for the character models which kind' of look untexured at times, combat is surprisingly good. Did not think combat would be one of the best feature's to this game. World is cool but lacks in a way with only having one major city, a few of the same small towns with sprinkles of bandit camps around it but being able to explore and uncover secrets to Hogwarts and the surrounding areas is fun. Broom riding is also great, traversing the beautiful world with an outstanding soundtrack is powerful and engaging. Overall this game is great and i could't recommend it enough if you are a big fan of open world and fantasy games

Guardians of the Galaxy is a masterpiece of a game. The story is phenomenal, you can really compare it to the MCU movies with the emotional hooks, action sequences, great pacing, great dialog, beautiful scenes and a starstruck soundtrack. The gameplay and combat is amazing, i love the way you use the other guardians abilities to your advantage or shifting the tide of battle. The dialog is great, whether that's in the cutscenes, during combat or even wandering away from the objective triggers special dialog. Exploring places like Knowhere was a blast with all the cool easter eggs and wonderful characters around for you to interact with. Overall this game is amazing and is one of the best super-hero games of all time

Game is not good at all. I've played Watch Dogs 1&2 and those games were great, so i had high hopes for this one but i was wrong. The whole multiple protagonists thing does not work at all, it's somewhat of a cool concept but it just doesn't work having all these random characters in a story most of them just don't fit or have annoying cringe dialogue. The world of London is a fresh air from the normal US world but still Ubisoft manages to make it not worthy to drive around in or explore. Driving is good, gunplay is good, hacking system is great. Crazy thing is the intriguing or "Fun" part of the whole game to me was the Assassin's Creed DLC and if a hour long DLC is the proudest part of playing your game than its not a good game

I really really tried to get into this game, I wanted to like it but i just couldn't. It's like DOOM mixed with Mad Max and a sprinkle of Borderlands humor, which sounds amazing but this game just didn't do it right. First thing it crashes SO MUCH, I cant play more than an hour before it crashes, the world is so bland and boring, every town looks almost the same and the driving around the map point A to B just feels like a chore. Vehicle Handling feels okay not the best. The only two things i get it credit for is the Gun play and the variety of abilities you get. The Gun play is very fun and satisfying. Using all the weapons you get at your disposal is actually really fun and creative you can really compare it too DOOM's gun play. I got this game for like $5 and i really wanted to like this game but the constant crashes, Boring World, Bland story, and mediocre characters just doesn't hook me back into the game to keep playing
