Swear this upgrade used to say it included all CC content and not "The Anniversary Upgrade includes Creation Club content released on or prior to November 11, 2021"

Pretty fun including master mode. Such a good addition imo and you shouldnt ignore it to experience all the content in the game.

Not going to change my actual review, as it mostly didn't pertain to Sony's decision to enforce the sign-in requirement. However, as of today Sony has backpedaled from the backlash.

Helldivers 2 is honestly a fun game. At least for a lot of people it is. For me, the magic of the game was gone after the 20th or so hour. The grind just doesn't feel worth it. The majority of the arsenal just doesn't feel worth using. Some weapons are just straight up bad in most scenarios, others are so situational that it's rough to bring them anywhere other than where their niche lies. Quite a few weapons just don't feel fun to use, and a lot feel like the same weapon just with a different skin on them. The balance patches of the game have also been hit or miss with a lot of weapons. Some get their deserved nerfs, while others seem to just get kicked into the ground for no reason.

And then on top of all this, is the recent Sony fiasco. For many that's what finally pushed them into a negative review, for me I don't really care. It sucks that so many people who bought the game in unsupported countries cant play anymore. It sucks that some people require putting in legal documents to make their accounts. It sucks that some people have to buy an expensive device in a country currently at war to make an account. I have no weigh in this discussion, I can freely make an account if I wished. I know I never will, as this game just isn't as important to me as it is to other people. But if this was truly a requirement, from the beginning, as everyone says it was. Why wasn't it shoved down our throats? Why was it in a quick skippable pop-up in game *once,* why is it in an area that not many people check? And why is it now, several months after the game has been out and working fine, is it finally required.

I dont think I'll ever come back to this game. I'm not truly sure I had fun after my first 20 hours of playtime. I'm not truly sure if I even had fun then. All I can say is I hope the people who want to play this game, who truly do love it and enjoy it, can play it. I hope those who bought it in countries that a PSN account is restricted in, are given a way to play it other than "Break Sony ToS."
