The game is honestly better than people make it out to be, the game has graphics out of its time, the character choices are unique and good, they fully managed to utilize the abilites of each and individual playable character as well as non playable characters, not only that but the backgarden and other singleplayer campaigns are also pretty fun.

The downsides to this game mainly involves multiplayer, the queueing time can take up to five minutes if you're unlucky, you also may have to switch regions to find a game which can tank your ping and make your game experience a little bit worse, also there are some balancing issues between plants and zombies, the zombies are very weak compared to the plants which when being put into the zombies team, will immediately put you at a disadvantage, I might also want to mention that EA has discontinued any further development on the game, so take it how you will and consider the fact that the game is on it's way out.

Honestly I was pretty sceptical of buying the game from steam after reading the reviews and other forums on the internet, but for what I paid for I honestly cannot complain, I would recommend this game for a discount price as the full price is not worth for what you get, but overall the game is pretty fun.
