Do you like open, detailed maps? Do you like being able to choose creative ways to eliminate your targets? Do you like maps that aren't full of copy-paste linearity? You're not going to like this game.

It's been said that this game is a good game, but not a good HITMAN game, which is accurate.

The graphics, voice acting, gunplay, and dark humor in this game are all great, but at the end of the day, these are things that a normal HITMAN game would have and more.

The levels in this game aren't that replayable. Only 20% of the levels are replayable in this game, versus 100% in the likes of Blood Money and HITMAN 2016. This is due in part to the fact that the levels are very linear, excluding the Hope, South Dakota map. Instead of big, open maps, you'll get little mini maps. 75% of these maps don't involve you assassinating a target, and rather move from point A to point B.

The story isn't good. Unless you're one of the 2% of players that are in it for the story, you'll likely not care.

Gunplay is amazing. Best in the series. However, this is a HITMAN game, not Grand Theft Auto. Instead of refining the gunplay, they should've focused on including more ways to kill your targets.

Is it a bad game? No. Do I recommend it as a HITMAN game? Certainly not. That does not mean you should ignore it. This is a GOOD game, but I can't recommend it for you if you're new to the series or a diehard HITMAN fan. I've dumped a few hours into this game, and no, it's not utter garbage as some people will say.

Just play the likes of Blood Money and HITMAN 2016 before picking this up.
