Overwatch being on Steam represents more than just the game itself. It represents the predatory and downward spiral that Blizzard has been going through thanks to its higher ups caring only about their margins and trying to squeeze every last penny out of their consumers. Even though I very much enjoy the gameplay of Overwatch, I cannot recommend it at all because, as the game is now a live service game, there is much more to critique the game for and what has been shown over the last year with the launch of Overwatch 2 has been abysmal and a gigantic dump in my corn flakes. Do not dump in my corn flakes Blizzard. As someone who has played almost every Blizzard game, I hope people can abstain from playing their games so that the whole "Vote with your Wallet" really has some impact.

This program has been free since the beginning. Then all of a sudden they lock EVERY feature behind a paywall. It was a great program with as good or better tracking than other software like Facerig. They're just shooting themselves in the foot doing this. I would be okay with a flat fee but a monthly subscription for a program that I rarely use is not the direction they should have gone.

I really liked the story for this game. The graphics and gameplay are always great. But the damn microtransactions are such a hindrance. Making you wait to play towers again unless you use tokens you can buy with real money and making you grind so much for upgrades, unlockables, and progression. Also the store is so sleazy with their cycling cosmetics. I refunded my copy. Hope they'll improve things.

Every time I'm infected and I kill someone, in the middle of the kill animation the game crashes. Also it's so difficult to get a party together. Invites and joining through steam don't work most of the time.
