Yes, I was worried that this game will be a walking simulator game with basic building and quest system. And yes, the quests are kinda meh where you have to go here and there talking to a bunch of different NPCs to get rewards. BUT, everything in this game feels REWARDING.

Everything you do(besides walking) in this game gives you progression. Whether it's chopping trees, foraging items, hunting animals, cooking, fishing, crafting, heck even talking to the NPCs gives you progression. The game constantly gives you something to look forward to, making sure that you're ACTUALLY doing something productive that rewards you.

The story in this game is kinda meh and I could care less about it, and the good thing about it is that you can skip some of the quests and just do whatever you want in the game without having the pressure to complete them and can STILL get rewarded with a bunch of stuff like new decoration recipes, food recipes, golds, and items.

Grinding in this game doesn't feel hectic(at least for me) unlike other MMORPGs. The thing that makes grinding fun in this game is the community. I have yet to find a single toxic player in this game and I already spent 130+ hours on it. I super rarely give reviews to games but I had to give it to this one because of how surprisingly addictive this game is.

If you love a chill and cozy game with building system, give this game a try. If you're worried that it's going to be a "walking simulator" game, don't worry, it's not THAT BAD. I do wish they add mounts though maybe in the future.

The only complain I have about this game is the fact that we can't buy individual outfit parts and that we're FORCED to buy a bundle for an outfit. I love cosmetics in games but having to force me to buy another set of outfit just because I want a certain face mask is kinda absurd. But hey that's just me! Anyways, I have more things to say about this game but that's about it for now. It's a free game with a bunch of contents, friendly community, and monthly events. I'd say give it a try!

The only horror game where I genuinely enjoy playing it

Game is really good so far! I've been a long-time fan of the DD franchise! I'm playing on a rtx4060 with HIGH settings while streaming. I set the fps to variable. Yes there are times where there's sudden FPS drops like if you encounter a group of harpies. The only way to recover is to sleep at an inn and everything will be back to normal.

Yes the MTX stuff, denuvo, and the single save thing is bad, but i've been loving the gameplay just as I expected! Can't wait to play and progress more into the game!

For those who are still unsure to buy the game because of the bad reviews, I understand that this game may be pretty heavy if you don't have a strong PC. Resulting in performance issue. So yes I suggest you wait for the performance update. I don't really care about MTX since I never really buy any of them and most of the stuff they offer can be obtained IN GAME!

Hopefully they patch this soon cuz gameplay is not smooth rn. Kinda ruins the vibe. Will wait for an update before I play again. Won't recommend this game at its current state.
