Plays very close to the legacy titles (Budokai Tenkaichi Series) and is executed well. Story mode adds a lot of perspectives of other characters instead of just goku and vegeta. Would I have preferred the scenes to be at least animated instead of mostly slideshows? Yes, but this has been always the case for the BT series and we already have DBZ: Kakarot for a more immersive story mode. Overall, A great successor for a great series that was last seen 17 years ago.

Nihon Falcom is definitely an underdog dev company. Played almost all of their games on steam and the storylines are absolutely unique and satisfying.
10/10 for the whole trails of cold steel series
