Before I start I just want to mention I have never ever played any other souls-like game in my life. After hearing so many positive reviews about ER I decided to buy it, cause why not? That game consumed more than 100 hours of my life and you know what? It was so worth it.
My beginnings were tough, obviously. I was on the edge of droppin it forever as I could'nt handle even the easiest enemies. But I kept going. The process of getting better with every hour was so satisfying that I craved for more. After approximately 20 hours I was doing just fine. There were many moments of hesitation, not gonna lie, but the satisfaction of beating the hardest bosses was incomparable to anything else I could experience in any other game. Frankly speaking I was hungry to get 100 % achievements and I did so.
To anyone STILL wondering if the game is worth buying. Shut up and spend your money!
THE STORY is a subjective matter, some will say it's kinda boring, others will be charmed by it. If you want to consume it fully, you gotta research it yourself and read descriptions of the items you get.
THE GRAPHIC - well, outstanding.
LOCATIONS - holy f*ck, these are sooooo well designed and so fun to explore! All these hidden spots, fake walls to discover, unconventional passages. That might be the strongest pros of the game
OPEN WORLD - works awesome here. The freedom it gives you, to progress in your own tempo was the thing that I presume to be crucial for me to finishing the game.
THE PARKOUR - oh my sweet Marika, that is a complete nightmare, so many deaths because of this. You gotta have some good nerves for it.

Everyone who played will totally agree that the 5th edition of Far Cry stands out among the others (especially 3th and 4th).
But I absolutely dissagree that this is the worst one. Yeah it's true it is not revolutionairy, more like hoary old chestnut. BUT what I liked the most is it's climate. It does the job very well cause it's very immersive and you can feel what it wants to offer.
Who I recomend it for? To people who like the series or adore playing stealth games. If you want to play for the story, well it's a very debatable matter, some will love it (like I do), someone will be bored to death like it's not the main core of the game.
