Started out very promising. The camera work was very professional and the initial hook was compelling. I REALLY wanted to like this game and was very excited by what they started offering me. But it went down hill after the first hour or so. So many of the options were fake (Comfort or reassure a character, essentially the same thing being presented as two different options). The end was uninspired and drawn out in both endings, repeating an out of left field chain of events that undermine the world that was being built up and left much of the established points of suspense and fascination unexplored.

My genuine impression was that there was some passion for this project at first, but either it dried up or the creators were overwhelmed later on and just tried to wrap it up as quickly as possible. So for this reason, I'm saddened to say I cannot recommend this game.

Celeste is my favorite anime. Tons of waifus, snazzy anime music, you go fast and it takes it a step further in the genre by introducing a self-cest storyline

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Many people state that this title suffers from technical issues however I've yet to experience any beyond a short dip in frames that lasted for a few seconds a couple times in my playthrough. Far from anything to worry about.

Pros
- Great variety to gameplay with multiple jester styles that all play very differently with their own strengths and weaknesses
- Excellent retro game style soundtrack, hype sonic style music all day.
- Levels have a good flow to them and have a variety of paths for variety. They seem well crafted overall and are
very unique to one another
- Decent length, about as long as freedom planet factoring out cutscenes
- Has a second story mode as a different character, adding to replay value

Cons
- Rare frame drops (in my playthrough) The severity of this issue however is varied between users, of windows 10 mainly, as some people get it down to 10 fps for almost half the game. There are work arounds that require the use of a second controller or for you to play on the keyboard. A bit of a pain, but the game is work it overall.
- Story is nothing to write home about. It's fun, it's short, but with how much the gameplay stood out, I wish there was a little bit more to it.


Overall, I'm very glad I gave this game a shot despite the scary warnings people were giving.

1. It's 4 dollars,

2. It's got a great soundtrack that evokes emotion but is still catchy to listen to just because.

3. The story grips you with tension. Moments happen where everything depends on what you say or do, and up until the last second when the conclusion is decided you feel that consequence, and even the regret that comes after. It deals with the hole in a person's heart after a great loss, and how you can overcome it, or how it can twist you to the point where you are somebody unrecognizable from who you were.

4. Yes, it is short, about 2.5 hours, but have I mentioned it's 4 dollars?

Everyone was all liek " PAHSHOO PAHSHOO!!! " n I wuz all " swing Pa-chooo * echo effects * ) n they dyed n then diz guy wuz all like " SUPAH HOT " . I didn't think the game was going to hit on me like that at the end of a levul, but itz kewl.

LOVE THIS GAME! It is a gem of the beloved " wonky physics based platformer " in a similar vein to N+, but with a very unique movement system. Easy to pick up, hard to put down is the best way I have to describe this game. The bosses are intense and the soundtrack is also very catchy. If I had to say something the game could improve on, the leaderboards could be easier to browse, but thats about it. I am in love with this game! 10/10 IGN!!!
