If you enjoyed Panzer General 1 or 2 and subsequently played my all-time favorite game, Panzer Corps, then Panzer Corps 2 is a dream come true. As someone who prefers offline gameplay and has spent over 3,000 hours playing Panzer Corps, I can confidently attest to the exceptional quality of this game. Published by Slitherine, a renowned publisher of excellent war games, Panzer Corps 2 is an armchair general's dream come true. The game is set in World War II, allowing players to take on the role of the Germans from the Blitzkrieg through Poland to defending the gates of Berlin, or even attempting a Blitzkrieg to Washington in the U.S. With over 60 scenarios, a random map generator, and the ability to play as France, Britain, the USSR, the U.S., or Italy with their original equipment, this game is a comprehensive package. Additionally, it features an editing tool for mods, ensuring endless gameplay possibilities. The graphics are outstanding, particularly for this type of game. Players can earn generals who provide bonuses to core units, which can be carried over throughout the game. Every aspect, from animation to sound, is top-notch. I highly recommend Panzer Corps 2 to fans of Panzer General and anyone interested in an exceptional gaming experience. Although some reviewers have criticized the game's multiplayer aspect, it is essential to note that this is a new game, and any issues will likely be addressed in due course. Critics have also mentioned that the maps are small; however, this game offers significantly more depth than Panzer Corps, particularly regarding unit abilities. While Panzer Corps remains my all-time favorite, Panzer Corps 2 provides a refreshing change of pace. Other notable games in this genre include Order of Battle WW2, Unity of Command 2, Panzer Strategy, and Strategic Minds Pacific. With the upcoming DLC release, players who purchased the Grand Marshal edition will receive the first two DLCs for free, covering the Spanish Civil War, Poland, and the Belgium-French campaign. The Grand Campaign feature, which was expertly implemented in Panzer Corps, is expected to be equally impressive in Panzer Corps 2. If I were to offer any criticism, it would be the inclusion of puzzle elements in some campaign missions, which I find less enjoyable. However, when allowed to play freely with my panzers, I am thoroughly entertained. Overall, I would rate this game 9.5/10.

If your a fan of the Panzer Corps 2 Grand Campaign then this will be awesome and until now short of individual scenarios you couldn't play the Allies well this is playing as the U.S has new commanders like Patton ECT, so the Frontline campaigns will be like the grand campaign except it will focus primarily on major battles in History this is the Battle of the Bulge and it takes this scenario in history and makes a complete campaign out of the battle, it really kinda cool especially if they do this for all the major battles like the Falaise pocket, Stalingrad ECT, but essentially the game takes the Battle of the Bulge and divides it up into 12 scenarios I believe in which you play small pivotal confrontations of the Battle of the Bulge and at the beginning you really don't have any supplies the weather is bad so you have no air power that was both issues just like in real life, it really doesn't get any better until Patton shows up to relieve Bastogne. It's actually really fun campaign it's like Panzer Corps but playing as America, i have been waiting for the Pacific campaign but this is the Allies and im a bit confused as to why they started the campaign in 1944 and didnt start in operation torch or Africa but whatever im sure they will make awesome, i love everything they put out anyway. I would definitely add this to your collection.
