I wish there weren't so many randoms at places where they shouldn't be like vehicles and planes. A dude can't pull a damn spire.

Honestly, the most amazing thing about this game is how close it is to reality. Nobody is your friend here. Ever. It's survival of the fittest. Every person can become your enemy, even your own group mates.

What Wakfu should've been instead of a Dofus copy and also with all the classes that are currently missing/yet to come. Ankama is a good indie company though. The french didn't disappoint with this one.

Damn this whole place has indeed gotten review bombarded.

Well, here are my opinions!

First off, I'd like to say that I've been playing On and Off since 2016 when Sombra got released and she was indeed my first character and I did indeed start maining her for a while till I became a tank main. Been a tank main since then up until today.

I have about 800 hours into the game. Nothing special. At the end of the day, its about how well you perceive something and live with it rather than just spending time with it autopiloting or whatever.

The game's fun. Overwatch has never been boring. It was a great game and is still a great game. There's a lot of great games that are outstanding but are just managed very poorly by their devs, have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ communities, etc. Yes, Overwatch doesn't have the most positive community. And yes, we do have lots of 18+ content on the internet. Its good for marketing.

Overall, when it comes to playstyle, the game is fun. You have ways to go. You can't come from Valorant and just play Widow and win games with 0 game sense. And you aren't gonna be good at the game after 10 years of being potato rank too. But you can improve. You can become better. And while it isn't a realistic shooter, it's a good hero shooter. Weapons are fun to use, interactions are pretty interesting, combos are great, voice coms can REALLY help out if done properly, etc.

Lore wise, the game is.. well, its not terrible. We've had worse. Blizzard has done worse. But they haven't had " Terrible " story writing. Just too much political ♥♥♥♥ going on and just weren't worth the while. But the characters? They're amazing. The voice lines, the interactions, they have always drawn me into the game more. I tried playing Paladins, I felt almost lonely without hearing the characters having conversations or good voice lines with good voice actors.
Story: 5/10 // Characters: 9/10

Graphics? Graphics. Graphics aren't anything special. They are good. They are pretty neat. Some skins are better than others. My issue with that is that some skins just deserve extra sounds or sound changes while they don't have em, etc. But you can enjoy the game on low just as much as you can on ultra. Unless you're the type of person that must have everything on 4K then I don't envy you because you've got boogers in your head for brain.

Community. Ah yes. So you'll see a bit of everything. Sometimes you'll find edaters, sometimes you'll find healsluts, sometimes you'll find depressed folks with nothing to their lives so they spam this with hope they'll feel better, sometimes you'll find genuine children. Sometimes you'll find narcissists and stalkers, blackmailers and people who don't take No as an answer. Sometimes you'll find great friends and amazing teammates. Sometimes you'll find folks who cannot speak English and will talk to you the whole game in their own language for reason which is kinda dumb, just learn English its 2023.
Sometimes you'll get smurfs that are just absolutely ass to play with and against and boosters of the same world.
And I'd say last, sometimes you'll find normal people. Just folks who wanna game. Aren't looking to hook up and aren't r-slur to the level of the above written.
Oh and also. The " people " who do NOT switch when they're supposed to. Aka Tanks getting countered not switching. Genjis, Widows and Hanzos not getting kills and not switching. Supports being called Healers when they are Supports, etc.

Devs? Honestly, devs aren't bad. The game is quality. Always has been. Never has been bad. But people who MANAGE this game? Fluffing hell. Terrible.

Last, do I recommend this game?
Yeah. Sure. Play it. Its a good experience. Make friends and or bring your current ones and enjoy the game. You'll find some levels of satisfaction. Just remember to avoid going in alone more often than not unless you're weak in the heart like most people out there in this day and age.

Should you spend money on this?
Sure. Skins are worth it. You aren't helping the devs for sure. But skins and ♥♥♥♥ are fun to have. As well as interactions and what not. Its part of the experience. Prices however are just unfair even with inflation. But yeah.
You're paying for a temporary amusement. One that will not last forever. Just like a amusement park ride.
Make your purchases with that in mind as this game will not last forever and nothing honestly does.

DFO is one of the games that I'd recommend if you don't really have much to do besides the desire to grind. Sadly, the game isn't really active in the west but hell, it even has it's own Esports in Asia. I'd say that for whatever it represents, it does a really good job. But remember, it is an MMORPG like every other so Grinding is something you just have to look through and ignore the stall feeling for.
