DRG is a blast both solo and with friends (though obviously its way better with friends). The missions are fun and diverse and I there's so much to level up and do, and I haven't even gotten to everything yet haha. The devs clearly put so much love in this game with how well they listen to the community. ROCK AND STONE!

Though Steam only showed 34 hours, I grew up playing this game with my dad on his Xbox. It's an experience I'll always treasure. The dialogue is funny, the game play is awesome, and the story features some of the greatest characters of all time. This game will always be in my my top 10 favorite games of all time, perhaps even top 5.

While short (as MANY other reviews point out) I love the insanity and story. It had some of the more memorable side quests (like the sentient gun that you feed, or the small ones where you help Krieg out, those are suuuuper sweet). The environments and new enemies are wacky and awesome. Krieg may have not been a interesting character to me before but this DLC made him grow on me and kept me invested. Hell, even the dialogue of the insane side of him annoyed me at first but then I grew to love him. As always, Zane's dialogue is GOATed in this. The final boss, while a bit odd story wise, was pretty fun.

Overall 8/10

Probably one the the best DLCs I've played, the music is bumping and the level design is so cool. Not to mention the neat blackjack chests and the semi-return of the best antagonist ever. The story is a bit meh (other than Timothy and Moxxi) but the final boss fight was awesome. My main gripe is the enemy variety which is 90% loader bots. I mean, narratively it makes sense but I was SO lucky I picked by a Venomous Hornet (legendary corrosive pistol) right before playing else I would've been screwed.

Probably my favorite DLC, though I'm probably biased due to Hammerlock and Wainwright being my favorite NPCs. Oh and because I'm always down for Gay ♥♥♥♥(tm). The guns are awesome, the boss fights are cool, and the all around level/character design is spectacular. I loved that Arin Hanson (from GameGrumps) voices one of the main NPCs, he did a spectacular job. My only gripes are the short length and the lacking ending ceremony. They totally should have had the whole cast there, or at least more of the BL2 cast. I mean, they're the ones that are closest to Hammerlock (probably). Oh, and it definitely would've been cool to add suit/dress skins for the PCs, feels wrong going to a wedding in your bloodstained armor but what do I know LMAO.

Borderlands had a lot to live up to with 2, impossibly high standards I'd say. As such, 3 did a lot better than what we give it credit for, I think. The story is lack luster in some areas and some of the npcs/dialogue are awkward but there's plenty of dialogue and missions that are funny and in classic BL fashion. I think most of the recurring characters were paid a decent homage (though others were did downright dirty). Zane has my favorite PC dialogue by far. The only missions I downright hated were the ones with required vehicles, because once your car blew up you had to WALK to respawn a new one and it ruined the flow of the game.

BL3 by far excelled in mechanics and guns. The game play is quicker, smoother, and keeps you on your toes even with maxed out stats and guns. The extra mobility mechanics makes it much more fun to get up in the enemy's grill and light em up, and now parkour is easier than ever. I've beat the campaign like three times and I still had a blast each time, I can't wait to try some of the DLCs. The guns (and equipment in general) are much more diversified and the manufacturers are much more unique. 2K really had fun with some of the abilities.

Overall, Borderlands came a long way from the first game and while some titles excelled in some ways and failed in others, I feel that each title still got progressively better. BL3 is no exception.
