I hate this game

game of the year

I have played subnautica below zero before new story for like 11 hours and I played new story until end.

My whole review cant be without spoilers, so sorry.

First I must say, that as always, some fishes are easy to ignore, some are nonstop nuisance, like squid shark when he stop my movement. In case of leviathans, with one upgrade its in my opinion way too much easy with them in seatruck.
What I want to tell, the game is much more easier then first subnautica, where even full upgraded cyclops could be easily sunk by leviathans and I ignored them and swimmed among them like nothing.

Still story is great, I was whole time pulled into game by it, and very interesting story with Al-An and so much glorious ending. My impresion was that I wanted to continue, I wanted to see things after ending. I hope there will be 3rd subnautica, even if it would not make sence at least to contine where story ends (at least I did not see something like sea on planet of precursors).

Map is glorious, like in last subnautica, but thanks to the fact that like map is smaller, 1/4 of it surface, which was great, but at all on one part I was running with prawn to one point, and on other same, not being even in danger from ice worm. I think that snowfox is overshadowed by prawn. then we 1/4 of map - artic, which is underwater and empty, which is quite understandable in artic biome, but I think that it would be better to make bigger map with it, eventually add even deep artic biome, which was removed, and ice dragon implement with it.

On the end, I would like to say something about leviathans. I think there is too much little of them. There is leaser leaviathans at all then is reaper leviathans in crash zone of first subnautica. west artic does not have one, east artic have like 2 of them, and then there are 2 on place of one ventgarden, which by my opinion are most dangerous ones. Whole seatruck can work like shield, where in case of need I just need to stop drive and I am save (In cyclops leviathans would still attack cyclops). There is lot of shadow leviathans, but all I did was that I got ready with one upgrade, and when he attacked me, I used it and run away with 0 damage.

In case of margariete, I think that its weird that she gives us on the end food and information about Sam, but there is nothing like at least asking her if she wants to go with you and alan (maybe I am wrong here)

9/10, and I recommend everyone to play this game, and even more I recommend to play first subnautica before. I heard that there will be maybe even 3rd part, at least in February main developer or who said they want to make sequel of the game.

now excuse me, I need to build my base and pet my Pengwings caught by fishing module of seatruck.

I just love this game

This game is very good even after 9 years, because living mod community and very good gameplay which can make you happy for very long time. This game can be even quite hard when you have normal damage and you meet some huge army.
