----I KNOW ITS EARLY ALPHA----

I want this game to be so good it hurts. I can not think of a better concept of a game like this. It is basically space ark without dinosaurs. However the dev team behind this game seem to be lost at what they are doing and as time goes on they get more and more out of touch with their community which they say they want to stay very connected with. It is one thing being behind with updates and content, but not over and over and over again. I have seen this exact same thing in a game called The Isle. They have excuse after excuse and nothing gets resolved. At the time of writing this, the game has already been out for 8 full months and still have not even put out a road map which they said would come out at the beginning of the year. We are in March. What is the beginning of the "year" to them? They do not seem to know what they are doing at this point and the lead dev being afk for an extended time now makes me wonder even more. The game may be too ambitious for this dev team. I will change this review if they start to fulfill their promises, but updating the game (which is 20gb btw) for no big content and to get to the main menu and everything is grayed out and after validating files still doesn't work is making me finally write a review about this game to hopefully make them and others realize that this game is a disaster at the current state of development, and dev team. I would only recommend this game if you want to play a kerbal space program type builder, which if thats the case, i would wait too because you never know what they are going to change such as heat sinks which just came out. Making some ship designs completely null now. Please be more honest with your community, Space Engineers is looking way more appealing and their player base change over the last so many months shows.
