I do recommend this map expansion, but definitely not for the full price.

Instead of developing the logistics side of the trucking business, SCS Software has gone further into tourism and exploration by adding Photo Trophy with the recent update, and the Texas Historical Marker Program as part of this state DLC. Apparently, taking photos and stopping by historical markers is more important than being able to repair in your own garage with a more realistic wear-and-tear system, adequate business expenses (monthly insurance and property/utility bills), or even sleep on any company's parking lot after delivery especially since we don't even get motels anymore! Why there are no more motels, really?

While it is true that DLC sales fund future enhancements of the game, I don't see any logistics/business aspect enhancement since 2016. And even if SCS is working in this direction, they are doing a great job in keeping this a secret. I hope traditional Christmas stream will bring some news, but I don't hold my breath anymore, and happy to have this DLC for free.

P.S. Traditional Christmas stream was a disappointment - they presented plenty of work on new 3D assets (trucks and trailers) and maps, but completely neglected game engine, code, and gameplay enhancements until the very end when Pawel saw disappointed comments in chat and decided to throw something in at the last moment. They clearly don't see this as important enough.
