I turned on sandbox mode and tried to recreate all of the rail lines in my hometown that were abandoned over the years. 2 weeks later I had a network spanning 4 states and was constantly identifying places where I could expand further.

I forgot to buy any trains because I wanted to be "done" before running any.

What I love about this game is that I live in Maryland, not far from where these battles happened, and I had ancestors who fought here. Whenever I see someone cry as they get shot, or a rebel yell charge, or someone get turned into cherry red paste by a cannon, I can truly feel their spirit. 10/10 best ancestral trauma simulator

Very good game for creating catastrophic railway disasters. 10/10

Update: Since I made this review, numerous updates have been added that both further increase the ways you can blow things up and it's now actually becoming a very accurate game to how trains work.

Bonus points also for adding a proper save and load system so you can reenact the 2023 east Ohio chemical spill but go back and complete the job later.

I have been playing this game since I was 12, long before it was uploaded to Steam, and I can confidently say it has fried my brain. Can't look at the train station in my hometown anymore without thinking about planting a bunch of trees so I can add twelve tracks to it and start importing coal from Wyoming.

This is by far the rootin-est tootin-est shootin' game I've ever played. I've started actually making cowboy calls when I get killstreaks.
